Cafe Genevieve

Cafe Genevieve, East Broadway Avenue, Jackson Hole, WY 83001, USA

Cafe Genevieve is a culinary fixture in Jackson Hole, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a historic log cabin originally constructed in the early 1900s for town councilwoman Genevieve Lawton Van Vleck. Cafe Genevieve serves southern-inspired fare made with ingredients from local producers, including Snake River Farms, Huidekoper Ranch, and Vertical Harvest. Brunch is served every day until 3pm, so there is no excuse not to try the Cajun Eggs Benedict, Fried Chicken and Waffles, and, of course, a side of Pig Candy.

Absolutely wonderful experience. The food came out fast and we ate every bite, wishing it wasn’t over. The porch was lovely in the evening and we want to come back for brunch. We expected a wait but were seated right away.

The bison chili was so good!! The customer service was PERFECT!! Felt taken care of from start to finish! They even offered to grill a beef patty for our dog while we ate on the heated patio! Will definitely be back!

My wife and I had breakfast here yesterday before a ten mile hike and we were quite pleased with our experience. We sat outside and enjoyed the cool mountain air. Service was fast and courteous and the food was delicious. My wife had eggs over medium with bacon, toast and hash browns. I had the Belgian waffle with fruit and whipped cream. The waffle was absolutely loaded with blueberries and strawberries and the whipped cream was thick and delicious. Genuinely one of the best waffles I've ever had...and I've had a lot of waffles! Coffee was rich and hot, and they even give you a bottle of fresh (real) cream. Overall, a top notch breakfast and YES - we'll be going back again before we go home. After all, they serve lunch and dinner too!

So i never write reviews and let me start by saying our server was absolutely amazing! My kid loved his grilled cheese and my fiance was very happy with her grilled cheese and tomato soup. My experience didn't resonate so well. My first sign should have been the awful bloody Mary that tasted like pre mix. So far thats not even a big deal especially if that is not there specialty there. The next bad experience was having a new guest of 2 sit right next to us during the pandemic. I can only explain it like having 10 urinals in a bathroom and someone choosing the urinal right next to you. This blame belongs to the host who was there to close. Last but not least, the fried chicken. Man I was so disappointed. The chicken tasted dry and the mac and cheese came straight out of a krafts box. My 6 year old son loved it! My only message is to be more mindful of the pandemic I understand we came to visit your restaurant but if there are 10 different open tables we don't need to be pushed in a corner together. Thank you for your hospitality.

Outstanding food, yet somewhat pricy for the overall decorum.
