Cafe Genevieve

Cafe Genevieve, East Broadway Avenue, Jackson Hole, WY 83001, USA

Cafe Genevieve is a culinary fixture in Jackson Hole, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a historic log cabin originally constructed in the early 1900s for town councilwoman Genevieve Lawton Van Vleck. Cafe Genevieve serves southern-inspired fare made with ingredients from local producers, including Snake River Farms, Huidekoper Ranch, and Vertical Harvest. Brunch is served every day until 3pm, so there is no excuse not to try the Cajun Eggs Benedict, Fried Chicken and Waffles, and, of course, a side of Pig Candy.

What a really nice place to grab some breakfast. The hostess didn’t seem very friendly or welcoming, but once we got sat down, our server was fantastic. Really tasty well prepared food.

Service was prompt and friendly. The prices were a little on the high side, but the portions were pretty large. We had two main complaints that kept this from being 5 stars. The first is that the huevos chili verde really needed more of something to eat with all the sauce. It was swimming in sauce and there’s only one tortilla. Give me some potatoes or chips or another tortilla or something. The second is that the potatoes with the Benedict were insanely salty. I love salt, and it was still too much. I had to smother it in ketchup to cut it with some acidity. The Benedict was amazing though, and the eggs were perfectly poached.

The food is incredible. We ordered Avo toast, eggs Benedict, juevos con chile, waffle and corn beef hash.. all of it was incredible. The service is amazing and they’re super kind. Also, we had super tasty drink at 9am so that was a plus! Def recommend to come here when you’re in Jackson!

First morning in Jackson we found this place! What a gem!!! In walking distance from our hotel. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere and delicious food!! After driving 20+ hours, then a good night's sleep; it was great to wake up and eat here. It set the whole mood and experience for the day. So many good choices to choose from, I decided on a favorite - Eggs Benedict. A childhood favorite, I have a hard time finding it and finding it done well. They hit the nail on the head! My husband and two boys loved their food as well - for my oldest (17) it was Instagram and Snap Chat worthy, if that tells you anything! Lol I highly suggest giving this place a try. Add it to your list, it won't disappoint.

Great little spot in town! We headed here for lunch after our sleigh ride at the Elk Refuge. We were seated right away. The hostess was friendly and warned us the kid sizes were small, which was great because my 10 year old son is a bottomless pit. The food was good, love that pig candy! I also highly recommend their mac & cheese. Definitely want come back and try breakfast!
