The Wort Hotel

What a beautiful hotel! We had a wonderful 3 night stay. The location is perfect right in the heart of downtown Jackson where everyplace was walkable. The bar and restaurant were fun and the food and service was outstanding, as was the live music. Staff throughout was very friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to return.

The employees at The Wort Hotel are AMAZING!!! I cannot say enough great things about our family vacation stay in May, at The Wort Hotel. We will definitely be staying at The Wort Hotel on our next visit to Jackson.

Opened in 1941. The lobby is majestic. If you go up the stairs - you'll see superbly carved wooden doors. There is the Silver Dollar bar and grill inside which is famous for its bar too and dining tables inlaid with Morgan silver dollars, live music and excellent cuisine.

Honestly this hotel is incredible, they think of the most helpful things in your hotel room and it’s a very calm ambiance. They provide such care and comfort in each room. There is a soft fluffy bear you can hug in your room and they have wool blankets that keep you so warm especially in the snowy weather during this season! Everyone that works there is so nice, I can’t wait to visit again!

This was our first time staying at the Wort and we cannot say enough about the hotel. Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Silver Dollar suite, which was a real treat. One of the best rooms we’ve ever stayed in. And the location right off the town square was perfect for exploring the area. We would highly recommend the Wort!
