Beautiful full service and historic hotel in the heart of Jackson Hole. The building is beautifully decorated in the traditional western style. Our room was very clean, comfortable and stocked. We ate downstairs in the Silver Dollar and that was great too. The service was amazing even when check in was busy. The spa is amazing and Robin in the gift shop was very helpful and lovely. We parked and walked everywhere. Parking was easy as there's free pull up parking at the front door. There is valet and there is free parking too. We had a blast and really enjoyed The Wort. A couple of things to mention would be that there are stairs. Stairs up to the lobby and up to the second floor. There are stairs down into the spa. There is an elevator but it's in the back of the hotel so with my bad knee, I just hobbled up and down as opposed to walking back to the elevator and back to the front of the hotel where our room was. I noticed an older gentleman doing the same. They have a lovely conciege to help so they will help with luggage and really anything. It's pricey but everything is in Jackson so all the little touches and the convenience are of great value. Thanks so much!

The Wort Hotel is an absolute gem and truly defines hospitality in Jackson Hole. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcomed—warm, attentive, and eager to ensure every detail of my stay was perfect. Their friendliness and professionalism set the tone for an unforgettable experience. The hotel itself is wonderfully quaint and cozy, with a classic charm that makes you feel both relaxed and right at home. It strikes the perfect balance between historic character and comfort, creating an inviting atmosphere you look forward to returning to after a day out. Especially the fresh baked cookies that were available when we would return from skiing. Location-wise, it simply can’t be beat. The Wort Hotel is within easy walking distance of fantastic dining options, unique shopping, and countless activities, making it effortless to explore everything Jackson Hole has to offer without ever needing a car. Without hesitation, I can say that I will not stay anywhere else when visiting Jackson Hole. The Wort Hotel has set the standard for me—it’s not just a place to stay, it’s part of the experience. Highly, highly recommended. A wonderful and memorable trip! Thank you to the staff. Jessica P

The Most Amazing Christmas Buffet Ever! This hotel is simply stunning. Upon arriving we went up to the second where we saw beautifully hand-carved doors and exquisite paintings that set the tone for our experience. The buffet was laid out elegantly, featuring a cocktail area, a dessert station, and a meat carving station, along with an array of delicious sides. Everything we tried was incredibly tasty, and I would confidently give this buffet a five out of five. We made our reservations right after Thanksgiving, and it's clear why this buffet fills up quickly; I witnessed them turning people away today. It's highly recommended! They also offer a similar buffet for Thanksgiving, The staff was exceptionally sweet and accommodating, making our experience even more enjoyable. We spent some time in the gift shop, chatting with the attendant, who was equally delightful. Although I don’t remember our waitress's name, she was absolutely wonderful. Overall, we were thrilled with everything and can't wait to return!

Stephanie, Tara and the team helped us in a pinch. Our flight was canceled and in need of a room quickly. There was only one room left and it was in a construction zone. Stephanie explained the situation and gave us a discount on the room. The team were all very accommodating and welcoming. The room was cozy and comfortable. The charm and history of The Wort made our trip to Jackson! We will be back, and I would recommend the hotel. Thank you.

The Wort Hotel is an excellent option if you want to be right in the action without wearing out your spurs getting to Jackson’s famous square for shopping, eating… and then shopping some more. The location is unbeatable. Town Square is steps away, and Snow King Mountain is walkable-ish—and take the gondola up for fantastic views. We stayed in one of the large Western-themed rooms during Christmas week, and it did not disappoint. The room was spacious, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the décor was beautifully done with striking cowgirl prints and sculptures that felt authentic rather than kitschy. The Silver Dollar Grill deserves a special shout-out. Breakfast was genuinely excellent and surprisingly affordable (a rare find in Jackson Hole). We were out most days exploring, so breakfast was our main meal there, but one evening I ordered a burger and fries via room service—delivered quickly, piping hot, delicious, and again, shockingly affordable. Service across the board was five-star, from check-in to the grill staff, housekeeping, and checkout. The combination of location, décor, ambiance, and consistently great service ensures I’ll be back. As a travel agency owner, I can confidently recommend The Wort Hotel to clients looking to experience Jackson Hole in any season. It’s a classic for a reason—and it delivers.
