The Lodge at Jackson Hole

Older facility my but clean and well maintained. Outdoor pool and hot tub are great if you can catch them without crowds (towels are in short supply so bring your bath towels down with you). Most of the front desk was awesome (especially the gentleman who was there most weekdays who wears a cowboy hat- forgot his name, sadly). The breakfast was best I have ever had at a hotel and I am used to staying at higher end chain hotels. Breakfast staff was friendly and attentive. Only complaint was being on the 3rd floor and the elevator going out of service but that was only really an issue getting the bags down at checkout and the front desk gentleman referenced above offered to help carry. Otherwise, stairwells were clean. Incredibly convenient for the bus stop. Hotel shuttle was convenient but he drove a little fast and was braking a little heavy for my liking. Overall, would highly recommend.

When I originally saw the photos online of the hotel, it’s surrounded by large beautiful trees and looks like it’s tucked back in the forest. Online , It looks like a mountain retreat where we could walk around and hike and explore the grounds. I decided to splurge on this property based on the photos because it was my husband‘s birthday. When we got there I was sorely disappointed to see that the hotels is off of a main road and is not surrounded by big beautiful trees. In fact, right behind it is a large strip mall with a Chinese restaurant, laundromat, liquor, store, etc. Not at all like the photographs portray. We paid a little over $2000 for three nights and felt like it was a bait and switch. The room nor this hotel was worth that price.

Stayed here just to sightsee so liked the quiet room. Wonderful shower with jets from above and from wall. Being 6'5", this was much appreciated. The breakfast was good with great service though would have liked more options such as sweet breads and simple hard boiled eggs. The pool and hot tubs are well maintained and clean. The property is going through a remodel toward a more modern vs rustic look. I hope the bears stick around.

The rooms are very nice and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is what you would expect from a hotel. A combination of hot foods like scrambled eggs, cubed potatoes, bacon, and sausage. Also, fresh fruit, breads, cereal, and yogurt parfaits. The rooms are a nice size, and the showers are large with a rainfall shower head in addition to a regular shower head.

Horrible room. Refrigerator was so small and freezer basically nonexistent and really not separate from the refrigerator. Tried to keep lettuce bottom shelf since the freezer was in the top. Ruined the lettuce. Microwave was the smallest one I have ever seen. The air conditioning is old and subpar and so loud you can’t even hardly sleep. And they say they serve you a buffet breakfast. It’s a buffet, but some of the items are cold and there is no decaf coffee in the room or at the buffet. the employees are not dressed appropriately for a $500 night hotel room. In their outfits like the wear at home. If they can’t dress appropriately, the hotel needs to give them uniforms. We complained about not having decaf coffee and cold food at the buffet and they were really less than interested except for one nice woman who smiled. Things could also be kept cleaner. All in all we loved to see the Tetons but thought our hotel room was not worth the $1200 price ticket that came with it.
