The Handle Bar

The Handle Bar, Granite Loop Road, Teton Village, WY, USA

No matter what time of day you begin après, the Handle Bar at the Four Seasons provides you the ideal slope-side location. Enjoy delicious libations, provisions, and exceptional people watching, just steps away from the lifts at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. While you’re there, be sure to try Chef Topher’s Country Fried Chicken recipe and sip on some fine whiskey or a local microbrew. During the ski season, the Handle Bar often throws outdoor dance parties on the weekends, keeping Teton Village bumping after the lifts close.

We visited in March and ate here for lunch everyday. The French Dip is the best! But we also enjoyed the nachos, pretzel, potato soup, and pork tacos. Love the Mini Caballo and Jackson Mule for drinks. The view of the slopes is great. And Jordan was the best waitress!!!

Dishonest server and disappointing food - We saw nachos on their menu, and that’s what we wanted, so we got a table. Our server was Ali. She asked us if we wanted guacamole on top of our nachos. After a few seconds of us being unsure, she piped up to say “well it’s included on the side anyway, but we can put it on top if you want.” So we decided no, it’s fine just to come on the side. The nachos weren’t very good. But what prompted me to write a review is this: when we got the bill, we were charged $6 for the guac. I told Ali that she didn’t say there was a charge for it. All she said is that it came on the side but we can choose to have it on top. Then she tried to gaslight me, saying “I wouldn’t ever say it like that”, then went off to ‘ask her manager’. I bet she went and stood in the back for a few minutes before taking the charge off because she knew exactly what she was doing - trying for a bigger bill and larger tip.

Inside the four seasons where everyone outside the hotel can have a bite and drink. View of the the ski slope. Ella the bartender makes the most delicous drinks I've ever had. Jack and hunter were very attentive aldo.. try the trout dip and burger is phenomenal. Cool place to check out.

Unfortunately as is reflected by a lot of low rated reviews … terrible management and hosting. They don’t take reservations so rely on 1-2 hour waits during busy rush hour where they prioritize four season guests (which I am fine with but for the tables that sit empty in anticipation of the guests that may or may not come but you have a full set of mountain folks). Food is delicious, drinks are phenomenal, understaffed but like most of Jackson the servers are phenomenal just limited to deal with sheer volume. FS, you can do better on volume / prediction management. Pretzel is a must, beer cheese is out of this world, beet and arugula salad is delicious, smash burger is out of this world. Ultimately food is not lacking.

This cute pub within The Four Seasons Hotel is a fun place to meet and eat after a fun day of skiing. Lively bar that serves good apps. My favorite app was the ricotta spread with drizzled honey and red peppercorns served with crusty country style bread. The wings had a little kick to it that hit the spot. It’s a family friendly place too. We enjoyed sitting outdoors slope side.
