Teton Village Trail Rides

Took the one hour ride. Great scenery. They don't supply helmets. The horse Boone was slow uphills and flat. He was good downhill and does not eat much grass. He takes his time on roots rocks and mud, so don't rush him.The horse Sam eats a lot of grass It was good the guide checked the saddles at the top of the hill before coming back down. Fun water crossing at the end. I would recommend not doing the trip if there is a lot of fog which there seems to be in the mornings.

My husband and I were on an anniversary trip to Yellowstone and Tetons from Oregon. We thought it would be cool to try the trail rides driving through Teton village. We chose the 2 hour option which we felt was the most bang for your buck and proved true, they also generously offered a military discount. While we waited for our turn, we walked the village a little and ate lunch at mangy moose which was good! Once it was our turn they chose horses for us, helped us on to them, and adjusted the stirrups. My husband and I both had some riding experience but there were people in our group who had no experience, the guides were very clear and concise in their instruction for our ride. We rode out into a field with amazing views of the mountains, we then rode up one of the hills where we came across a black bear who likely had cubs, Kayla, our guide was very calm herself and in her direction to the group on what to do as we rode past the bear. Such a cool experience! Kayla was great about updating us on things to look at on the ride, chatting with the group, and giving direction/help when needed. This was truly a fun ride and we would absolutely go back again!

Such a beautiful 2 mile trek. Our guide Justice was incredible. The trail was so lovely. My horse was a sassy girl but we still had so much fun!

Can’t beat the price for the area and they were super accommodating. I’m 6’1” and about 270-275lbs and they were able to get a horse that would work for me. Which was greatly appreciated being most horse riding places in the area have weight limits below my weight. Overall 10/10 from me and my wife!

My family and I went on the 1 hr ride and it was awesome. My horse was beautiful and nice. The guide and the ranglers took care of everything. We went up the mountain about 100 feet in elevation and the view was great. I can't wait to do the two hour trip next time. Super affordable and an excellent value.
