Teton Expeditions Scenic Float Trips

We took two tours with Teton Floats. We took the Yellowstone Lower Loop tour with Carter. This was a full day 12 hr round trip experience and we did a lot. In addition to all the usual stops in Yellowstone, Carter made multiple unplanned roadside stops so that we could shoot some wildlife (with our cameras). We saw elk, moose, and bison up close. Carter was super knowledgeable and kept us engaged throughout the day. Lunch far exceeded expectations as well. Our second tour was the scenic float tour on the Snake River with Jack. This was a 3 hr mostly gentle cruise on the Snake River which included a stop for lunch (same great food as the Yellowstone trip). Jack was in full command of the raft most of the time but did make it fun as we navigated a few obstacles and one or two sets of rapids. He also did a great job pointing out a few Bald Eagles and a Marmot. This is a solid outfit that definitely cares about the experience it provides it’s customers.

The scenic float trip was incredibly relaxing. It's the perfect way to end the day. We were able to see smaller animals and some birds, including 10 bald eagles! We also went on a Yellowstone and a Grand Teton tour using this company. Everything was coordinated smoothly. No hiccups, issues or complaints. Our guides were knowledgeable, kind and considerate. Excellent customer service. They were always checking to make sure we were comfortable or if we had any requests..... We saw a moose, some elk, lots of bison and many varieties of birds. It was a fun time with great people!

What a great experience! Got to see so much of Yellowstone with our knowledgeable guide, Luke. He knew so much about the history and geography. Well worth the cost!

Amazing 1/2 day afternoon tour of Teton National Park. Luke our guide was amazing - very knowledgeable about the history of the park, animals and mountains. We saw a variety of wildlife and stopped for some terrific photos. Wish we could have kept going but pushed the limits of our young kids attention. However they were so glad they could see everything that they did as well! Highly recommend the Tetons and this tour company.

We did two tours with Teton Floats out of Jackson. The first was a tour of Yellowstone, which takes a bit to get to from Jackson but the route takes you through the Grand Tetons, so that’s all good. I highly recommend a tour if you’re visiting for your first time. The guides know exactly where to go to see the best thermal features and wildlife, plus they know where and how to park and often have set aside spots for tour groups. I can’t imagine trying to see Yellowstone on our own in a day. Our guide, Camden, was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great day with him. He ensured we saw Ol’ Faithful, even in the middle of a rain storm, and took us to see some of the best features and views in the park’s lower loop. We saw lots of bison, elk, and deer, and caught two moose on our drive back through the Tetons! The second tour was with Mike of the Grand Tetons, and this tour is just pure beauty. The mountains speak for themselves. The stops were all great and I’m so happy with the pictures we got! We also saw a bear and a bald eagle, as well as plenty of deer and elk. Both tours were great. The vans were clean and nice and the service was great. Even lunch was really good. Highly recommend if you’re in Jackson.
