Teton Backcountry Rentals

We picked up 2 cans of bear spray at the Teton Backcountry Rentals location right as we were heading north out of Jackson. Both my brother and I felt much more comfortable heading out on hikes after practicing how to use the bear spray on an empty canister in the store, which was very comforting! I appreciate the level of detail and care the staff directed to us. We saw a handful of black bears throughout our adventures but did not need to use our bear spray, but it was reassuring to have easily accessible. Super quick and easy drop off at the desk in the Jackson Hole Airport! Will definitely be returning to rent bear spray here for future adventures.

These guys are awesome! Made it to Jenny Lake and back (from Taggart). They outfitted us correctly at the last minute.

Great spot to grab gear and knowledge. Rented snowshoes/poles, had 20 min conversation about the area, best spots to explore, things to watch our for, etc... knowledgeable, friendly, great pricing, flexible hours/rental times.

These guys are amazing! We didn't really have any expectations when we walked in. It hasn't snowed much in the area but we still wanted to do snow activities! All of the equipment was very reasonably priced and available for 4 of us as walk ins each day. They were very knowledgeable about the area and outdoor recreation spots! Never felt like a nuisance although I am sure I was one- because I called and stopped in every day! :)

We had a great time at Yellowstone and the Tetons. Renting bear spray for our hikes gave us peace of mind. The pick up and drop off were easy. No complaints.
