Teton Backcountry Rentals

We rented the bear spray in Boseman. We flew in so renting was the best option. Everything went smoothly and drop off was easy. Renting the spray saved us money and kept us from having to give away a full can. I would definitely rent from here again.

Teton Backcountry Rentals and Bear Aware made renting and obtaining bear spray so easy! We were running later into Wyoming than we expected, so I called and they offered to put the spray in their after-hours pickup box. Seamless. Then when our itinerary changed it was easy to find a location for drop-off as well. We didn't end up using the spray, but we did see a Grizzly Bear in Yellowstone! I was glad we had the peace of mind of having the spray with us.

Great experience - friendly guys, very efficient service and fair price! We didn’t need to use the bear spray (phew!) but felt much safer having it and it was very easy to return at another location following our trip. Recommend!

Excellent customer service! My group rented several cans of bear spray, and received thorough instructions and easy drop off/return options. Also there as great gear in the store for rent and members of our group rented different items. A great find!!! Will definitely use when returning to Tetons.

We picked up 2 cans of bear spray at the Teton Backcountry Rentals location right as we were heading north out of Jackson. Both my brother and I felt much more comfortable heading out on hikes after practicing how to use the bear spray on an empty canister in the store, which was very comforting! I appreciate the level of detail and care the staff directed to us. We saw a handful of black bears throughout our adventures but did not need to use our bear spray, but it was reassuring to have easily accessible. Super quick and easy drop off at the desk in the Jackson Hole Airport! Will definitely be returning to rent bear spray here for future adventures.
