Jeff did a great job on our tour of Teton pass.. I highly recommend and will probably try another of their more advanced tours when I’m ready..

We spent the day on an absolutely amazing, 12-mile hike with Jeff, and it could not have been better. He was so knowledgeable, he made the hike fun, was encouraging, and he and his wife, Diane, did an amazing job planning everything (to include packing us a lunch, bringing extra hiking poles and backpacks, and bringing a water filter). We can’t recommend them enough!

Bluebird days, untracked powder, and delicious meals - I had an absolutely wonderful experience touring around Baldy Knoll with Kate and Peter.

My wife and I went out for a day tour with Jeff from Teton Backcountry Guides on a considerable (3) avy danger day. We are newish to backcountry skiing and we were looking forward to a day in the Tetons skiing powder. Understanding the risks involved while traveling in the backcountry we were definitely a little nervous, a storm had just dumped a whole bunch of new snow and Graupel was falling during the whole tour. Our guide Jeff knew how to keep us safe and over the course of the day was a wealth of knowledge, sharing snow safety facts, terrain observations and even local knowledge of the history of that area and the trails we were traveling. Super cool guy and took us into terrain we would have never been able to access with endless amounts of powder! The total for the day was 8.86 miles and 3,087ft. The team at TBG also provided a great vegetarian lunch for my wife and I, made special to meet our diet. Overall, a very fun, safe and challenging day. Looking forward to getting out again with this crew!

Fantastic service. What tells this guide service apart from the others is that they care. Diane and Jeff who run Teton backcountry guides want to help and ensure you have the best experience you can. They respond quickly to any questions (I had a lot). Diane spent thirty minutes the Saturday before we came out answering every question a first timer in Jackson going into the backcountry for the first time could have. If I haven't convinced you yet, then go with TBG for the brownies. They are handmade every day, along with the rest of the pack lunch by Jeff amd Diane. They even care that you eat well! Pete our guide for the day was terrific. Thank you for a great day out (exhausting but wonderful).
