Sands Whitewater

We loved our experience with Sands!! Ben was our tour guide, he was amazing! I enjoyed his sense of humor while making me and my family feel safe at the same time. I wanted to do the tour over and over again with Ben as our captain! Would definitely recommend. SIDE NOTE: Since everyone in our group arrived on time we left earlier and we were the only boat on the river which was AMAZING. We took our time and had fun!

Sands Whitewater Rafting was an amazing experience for our family of 5. We had Kristin as our bus driver and Ben as our guide. With me being the only one in our group of 9 who had whitewater rafted before, Ben made our three children (5,8 and 10)as well as myself feel extremely safe on the river. He had great knowledge of the river and great jokes to keep everybody having a good time. From the minute we walked into the door to the very end on the bus, the experience was great. We would recommend Sands to any family looking for a fun adventure.

Fantastic trip. John was a great guide. Knowledgeable, capable and friendly. We had a great ride that ran smack into a hailstorm! John asked if we wanted to stop, try to find a hiding spot, or trek through it. He gave options to teach and let riders captain the boat in calm areas as well as ride the bull up front or jump in and swim at appropriate times. Bus was nice and warm for the trip back. Highly recommend. Good wet suit equipment.

Have to say I went almost 10 years ago but this was one of the best trips I have ever been on. It looks like they don't have the two day trip with the teepee camping anymore. But an absolutely solid crew with experience and expert rafting knowledge.

We had a great time! Pierce and Travis were our guides on a scenic rafting trip. Absolutely beautiful scenery. We saw several eagles. The guides were entertaining and professional. I would definitely recommend this group for a great family experience.
