Rocky Mountain Elk Ranch
-
Looking for a hunt of a lifetime Rocky Mountain Elk Ranch has the whole package! The experience was beyond our expectations from the guide Logan to the cook Alana, Henry's Fork Taxidermy, and Matt's Custom Butchering! All of these people played a huge part of the success in our trip! The memories of my son shooting his first bull elk and for all of us to be a part of it will be a memory in the record book! Thank you so much Jeff and Alana for your hospitality that was professional and warming. As our son stated at dinner, "Not once did we feel as a client, we felt like friends!" Our family, Scott, Bonnie, Justin and Danielle all thank you all for this trip of a life time! We will be back!!!!

Best place to hunt!! Beautiful lodge, and gracious family atmosphere. Fantastic food and the guides are so fun to hunt with. They're taxidermist has mounts freshly completed each year that he can drop your antlers in the mint you choose, and you can take your trophy home with you the next day, along with your meat. It's the most complete package hunt I've ever seen. I can't think of a better place to spend a few days in the fall. They are booked way out though.I would recommend scheduling at least a year+ in advance.

We originally booked a family trip so I wanted nice accommodations, an area that has plenty to do, beautiful scenery, and an elk hunt that I could enjoy with my family on a time limit. This place provides all of that! The people: After meeting Jeff and Alana Lerwill you know that they are first class, hard working and genuinely nice people. The Elk: They go from huge to humongous. The Lodge: Beautiful place and is solar powered but has all the comforts. It is family friendly and has lots to do in the surrounding areas. The Ranch: High fenced and has two huge canyons with flats in between and on the side and sits at about 7000 ft. The hunt: It's a ranch style hunt with 100% guarantee. Still tough with a bow. Belly crawled through sage brush and hiked up and down canyons (by choice because they will bring you to areas on a Ranger if needed). I enjoy a challenge so I would recommend bringing a bow instead of a rifle. You could always use a rifle on the last day if needed.

From start to finish RMEL surpassed all of our expectations. Not only did we get trophy elk but the food, service and people were all amazing. Logan and Parker are expert guides that helped us land HUGE bulls. Alana’s food was amazing and the family and atmosphere was one we will never forget. 15/10 recommend it.
