Such friendly service! Nice and quick right before closing, pleasantly surprised by the chicken enchiladas (I rarely, if ever, see effort towards nice presentation and toppings of tomatoes, onion, cilantro, and sour cream creme! And sauce was unique and delicious.). Nice margarita to boot. Full and satisfied - thanks, y’all!

For Jackson the prices are decent. Good to better salsa which was freshly made. Excellent and friendly staff. Another customer asked about a vegetarian something on the menu and the staff member did an excellent detailed job. Food appears a bit healthier than normal Mexican food. For example, the chips were salt free. Nice tables inside and outside seating was good. Very nice location by the Albertsons. What sets this place apart is that it appeared most of its customers were local folks. The ambiance is good. Not a dive but not lavish. Plates are about $15 each and beer about $5 each. Other Jackson restaurant locations I have been to are a bit too cool, too expensive, and the food obviously just reheated. Give this place a try and see the quality enjoyed by the locals!

We wanted to try Mexican for dinner, and there were two options in the walking distance from where we were staying. We decided to give this one a try after looking at the menu of the other one for vegetarian options. I'm glad we came here. The place was crowded and the wait times were high (almost an hour!). The cashier who took our order patiently told us of the veggie options, and answered our questions. The food when it came out was absolutely delicious. A variety of hot sauces added many different spicy zings. Price was reasonable. I definitely recommend this place for its vegetarian options. I wonder why it has less than 4 stars, though. It's a 5-star in my list.

Chile rellno was better than expected for a whole in the wall. Mole was more Mexican BBQ than traditional chocolate mole. Pitcher of margaritas was STRONG. Flavor? Golden. Whatever that is.

Great spot in Jackson. Nothing fancy BUT the food was incredible. I had the nachos, which for 15 dollars (with chicken) was an amazing deal for how much food you get. The ingredients were fresh and it came out fast.
