Was looking for a place to have our morning coffee and a bite to eat in the morning. French bakery sounds pretty good. The place didn’t disappoint. There were few people in line but they took our order fairly quickly. You pick what you want, pay and the staff will bring your food to the table. Very efficient. Here is what we had: Egg sandwich on croissant Pastry with sour cherries Excellent place, sophisticated food. Highly recommended

Great food and coffee, very nice socially-distanced outdoor space. Long wait to get in but we’ll worth it!

Very good French restaurant for breakfast. There was a line but it went quick. Just off Jackson town square stroll over and try it!

The most delicious Coffee and brunch I have had in a long time. I ate here every morning while vacationing in Jackson. Unlike most coffee shops, Persephone knows how to make an almond milk latte - it was super frothy, creamy and delicious and looked just like a regular latte. Even with lines out the door and it being packed all day, the food was perfect every time. I applaud the chefs and baristas who are working hard all day to keep this place to a high standard. Oh AND they had a great selection of products to purchase. I hope Persephone will expand into other states - please come to Texas! :)

Persephone's is the type of bakery that makes you want to try everything on their menu, because every item looks, smells, and tastes amazing. This is not your average bakery, this place knows what it's doing from the crust to icing. The first thing you'll notice about the food is that their crusts are expertly made. Whether it's the crisp quiche shell (no soggy bottoms), or the crunchy French bread, they know how to do amazing things with a little flour and butter. The second thing I love about this place is that their baked goods aren't overly sweet. They aren't trying to hide anything. And last, their coffee is fantastic. The ambiance is quaint and charming, exhibiting a preference for the communal table movement. While there are a few individual tables, you should sit where you can meet others, because it's a fun and eclectic crowd that visits this spot.
