Bakery is good, if you have unlimited time. If you have time to wait for a chicken to lay an egg or two before your breakfast can be prepared, you've definitely found the right place. If you love Luke warm coffee, despite ordering it extra hot, again, you've found the right place. Again the place isn't terrible, but it's also nowhere near great! Expensive and extremely slow is how I'd classify it!

This is a Lubbock special. Would stay again . Need a few days to take advantage of the facilities. They have a nice pool, games area, bar / restaurant and live music some nights . Interesting art decor rooms and neat outside fire places in the common courtyard. Parking is a bit tight ... we parked on the street as the hotel takes the whole block. Short / Medium walk to campus with some restraunts the way. Unique architecture. Not sure why this comes up as a bakery ... but pretty sure it was the Cotton Court hotel in Lubbock . I may have messed this up ... as far as the bakery goes I recommend it also to get going ... French pastries were also 5 stars.

We loved this bakery! The shakshuka is delicious—a creamy tomato sauce with lentils and lentil peas and lovely poached eggs and buttery baguettes! I had it with their hot cider (with a cinnamon stick), and both were divine. My husband had their ham and egg croissant sandwich—the buttery croissant was definitely made from scratch and very good. He also had their hot chocolate. We went back once for dessert and drinks. We’re hoping to go back today (third time since arriving earlier this week). The service is quick and friendly, and the food is amazing. They sell pretty Xmas ornaments and mugs. We bought chocolate fudge brownies in little bags that are written to suggest that they’re bags of coal :) They also sell items to bake at home for Xmas, so we may go back to pick up bakery items to bake Xmas morning. Definitely check this place out—you won’t be disappointed.

This review is from July 2020. Horrible service behind counter. I asked to have something warmed up and the lady rudely said it’s not possible. Needless to say, my food was cold and dry and my experience was extremely disappointing. A self respecting bakery should be able to always offer warm baked goods. Even though the owner insists on the fact they always offer freshly baked pastry, I did not get that impression at all. I would not recommend this place to other people, unless they get lucky with the exact timing when the "fresh" goods come out of the oven. Cute coffee mugs. Lovely outside vibe and tables under a big tree.
