Natural Retreats South Fork Lodge- Hotel

What a lovely, unique setting on the Snake River to celebrate my husband’s birthday with a delicious, locally sourced feast. We loved the menu and the cocktails. This is truly a special, yet understated resort. We will be back!

We are local to East Idaho and made reservations to South Fork Lodge for dinner and it was a great experience. The staff, food, atmosphere, etc was amazing and the views were gorgeous. We will be back.

The Snake River is famous water for a reason, and the SFL is the perfect compliment to exploring this water. The whole team brings a 1st class service to every guest, every guide in our group delivered great fishing, and the setting is surreal. Maybe some of finest accommodations for a fishing lodge I’ve ever seen - and the bar is something special. My group agreed to book a return trip before we even left!

I was pedaling through on my cross-country bike tour. Stopped by hoping to buy a cup of coffee. Was warmly greeted and given (delicious) coffee and allowed to rest my bones the beautiful main room. I'm sure I looked and smelled less than fresh. The staff took it in stride and showed me every kindness. Thanks, all. You made my morning.

Extremely lucky to have been able to stay at this resort and get a few days of world-class fly fishing on the Snake River. The fishing is of course, spectacular, with super great guides that make everything easy and fun. The resort delivers a feeling of super-luxury, but in an easy going and unostentatious way. The food is absolutely great and there are lots of seating areas and other places to congregate, or simply get away. If you can ever arrange a visit to this resort, you will not be disappointed.
