When we were in the area the center was closed so we only got to walk around the outside. Just judging from the outside it seems like the inside would be cool as well.

“So, where’s the sheep?”😂 Be advised, no actual big horn sheep here. The lady looked at me like I was crazy for asking where the sheep were. There’s some kinda cool exhibits and stuff but no actual real live big horn sheep.

While driving back from the Wind River Reservation to Jackson, my wife and I decided to make a stop here. I'm not really sure what we were expecting, but it was definitely worth a stop. Between learning more about the life of bighorn sheep, their history and role in the area, and getting to touch their fur and skulls, we both learned a lot. The displays are very well put together and maintained, and the information is very clear but still packed with information. There is a small room with a theatre with informational videos playing as well. We both enjoyed the stop, and learned a lot.

My chicken fried steak was a cube steak, the vegetables came out of a bag in the freezer. Their pie was much anticipated, but wasn't very good. The crust was quite tough and I think it was made from fruit that hadn't ripened. It was sweet enough until you bit into a berry. The help is rushed, which doesn't lend itself to good service. The homemade chips were tasty and our server comped us the pie because so many things had gone wrong.
