Mangis Fishing Guide Service

We went on a fishing trip with Mangis. We had a party of 5 including children. Everyone had a fantastic time. Our guides, Tom and Ralph, were long time locals who really knew the river. We caught a lot of fish and learned very interesting facts about the river and surrounding area. The company is locally owned. I would highly recommend booking with Mangis.

I have been fishing with these guys since 2012. We always catch a ton of fish! I owe my introduction to fly fishing to these guys! They had me catching fish almost immediately!! I always look forward to a float trip with them every year!

What a great experience. Jake was patient with instruction and was diligent to get us on the fish. My wife and I caught many fish and had a tremendous time. This was not a rigorous trip, but had great adventure. I would highly recommend using Magnus fishing to fly fish the Snake River.

Did a guided fishing trip in the snake river with Matt and it was absolutely fantastic! We ended up catching 17 fish! We were novices to fishing and Matt did an amazing job teaching us and going over everything we needed to know for the trip. Thank you Matt for such an amazing fishing trip that my mom and I will always remember If you call Mangis make sure to request Matt, he is the reason for 5 stars!!

If I could give more stars I would. Highly recommend Mangis for all your fishing needs! There are not many family owned and operated guides for any of the things to do around Jackson and this one could not have been any better. From start to finish our experience was top notch. Customer service on the phone was excellent & they were patient with all my questions. Booking was so easy and they were happy to accommodate us for the time we were in town. Came out on a trip at the end of May. While the waters were not ideal, Jake did a phenomenal job of putting us on fish. This man is as patient as they come and handled my 2 boys with ease! His equipment was well kept and he was more than prepared for the occasional snap of a line or rod. Lunch they provided was very good quality & filling. We definitely will be back!
