Our guide Colton was very entertaining and knowledgeable. Made the whole experience comfortable for everyone. Interacted with everyone. Knew what he was doing. Will recommend to everyone considering this activity.

Swimmin Jimmy the carnage king was the best guide ever!!! I have nothing negative to say about our experience. We went on the slow float one day and the white water rapids the next day. We had Jimmy as our guide both times and would request him again in a heart beat. This company knows their stuff from booking, to wet suites to transportation and everything in between. They make sure you have a whole lot of fun on your ride. They do a great job of educating you and walking you through anything you need to know and answer all your questions. Jimmy had a great sense of humor and kept us laughing the whole time. I would recommend this company to anyone. Side note… the sack lunch they give you for the slow float was pretty dang good. Not something cheap or small and the water bottle was a great souvenir. We’ll definitely be back again.

Bobby and Crew led an amazing raft trip. The water was especially high this time of the year, which played in our favor with lots of rough water and splashing. For a family of five, with three teenagers, this was an incredible experience. If you are on the fence of which outfitter to go with, don't hesitate to choose Mad River Boat Trips - well done!

We had a great experience with Mad River Boat trips! Our guide Pony Boy was wonderful and I liked how he explained things about the river and the rapids to us. It was our kids’ first time whitewater rafting and they loved it. All of the other staff members were also very helpful! Would definitely recommend Mad River!
