Truly a wonderful vacation. My wife and I and 3 children (ages 7, 9, and 11) had such a special week (July 4th week, 2023). The family that owns and operates the ranch, along with the staff and wranglers, really enjoy what they do and it shows. Amazing scenery, picturesque rides each day, and top notch food (this was unexpected!). I don't consider our family 'horse people' and we were definitely novice when it comes to riding experience, but the staff and horses were amazing and we all felt comfortable and rode each day. The activity schedule had a nice balance of family time and adult only rides / meals. The petting zoo was a big hit with all the kids. My kids were legitimately upset when we had to leave and are still asking when we'll go back! Thank you Halmay family! - The Oldham Family

We loved everything about our stay at the Lazy L&B! The food was delicious, the horses were safe for any level of rider, the kids had super fun activities planned. The only suggestion I have would be to upgrade the bed in our cabin, but honestly we were so tired it didn't matter. The Halmay family and all the staff were so welcoming. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with our family 💕 I would highly recommend a getaway at the Lazy L&B! You won't regret it ❤️

I honestly can't say enough good things about this ranch and my experience there. I am not sure there could be a better location. The views are breathtaking. When I picture Wyoming, this ranch is what it is. The owners and staff are so friendly they feel like family and went above and beyond to make us feel at home during our time there. The food was AMAZING. The wranglers are great at helping you feel comfortable with the horses. The staff also do a great job of giving both the kids and adults a great experience by allowing some time together and some time apart. My group was originally looking for an adult only experience, but after having scheduling conflicts that didn't work out. Having the kids there was not a problem at all. They were around just enough to be super cute and not make it feel like a kids camp. They seemed to all have a blast doing their own thing and got to spend time with their families as well. Another huge advantage is the location of the ranch. Grand Tetons is close enough to easily drive to from the ranch. We took advantage of that and also went a bit further to Yellowstone, which could be done in a day if you wanted to spend a whole day exploring the parks. I would 100% recommend the Lazy L&B if you're looking for a dude ranch experience.

We had the great pleasure of staying at the Lazy L & B a few weeks ago and I cannot say enough good things about it. We were a large extended family group (18 ppl) with children ranging in ages from just under 2 to 17 and everything in between. We truly had the vacation of a lifetime! The ranch is family owned and operated and you really feel part of the family when you are there. Deb and Jason (main owners), their daughters and staff run an exceptional week full of varying activities, not just horseback riding. However, the riding (and scenery) was incredible with unbelievable views, changing landscapes with each ride, and varying from easy to moderate, from a few hours to all-day rides. All were exceptional and the wranglers were excellent leaders during the rides and were very knowledgeable about the ranch and it's stunning surroundings. When you think about an authentic western dude ranch, the Lazy L & B is it. It's 30 minutes down a dirt road off the main "highway", so you are truly away from everything. The accommodations are authentic log cabins and very comfortable. The food was also outstanding! Every single meal was absolutely delicious. The fly fishing instructor also took us to world class locations with nobody else there. There's so much more to say that I can't fit into words here. Our family has lifetime memories from the week. There are so many ranches to choose from but I can guarantee you will not be disappointed in the Lazy L & B!

I spent a week at the Lazy L&B ranch with family over summer 2023. It's an amazing place in the middle of a vast landscape with stunning views in all directions. The friendly guides took us out on adventurous horse rides every day. We crossed rivers, climbed mountains, and went up and down gulches, so the rides were really adventurous, between 2 - 4 hours in length. The food was superb all week. We had steak, fish, campfire cookouts. Any downsides? Well, it's miles from anywhere so we stayed on the ranch all week. It's quiet and there's no phone signal, so that may or may not suit you. It's a great place for a digital detox. I really enjoyed the week and have lifelong memories with my family.
