Excellent service and food! Elk Tenderloin was perfectly prepared! Scallops were scrumptious! Would recommend! The Crème Brûlée was a perfect ending!

We were too tired to go out for dinner our first night, so we decided to eat in the hotel. Were we glad we did! I had the trout, and my husband had the grouper. Both were excellent and served with a gorgeous presentation. Then came dessert.😊 The flourless chocolate torte was good, but it’s very dark chocolate so not as sweet as you may be expecting. The carrot cake was fabulous!!! I’ve never had carrot cake as good as this. Drew was our server and he was awesome. Made great recommendations and took great care of us.

Amazing restaurant in the iconic Wyoming Inn. We enjoyed Bison, Beef Ribeye and Idaho trout. The Bison was perfectly seared With a tart hucklerry sauce. The ribeye was complemented with the best mashed garlic potatoes! The Idaho trout was pan fried with perfectly crisped skin! Wow! For desert, the carrot cake was moist, homemade, scrumptious! Highly recommend this restaurant!!

I have enjoyed dining at the Whistling Grizzly before and it’s amazing! We were greeted by Kimi, who was very attentive. Jean Paul was our server and he was outstanding!!!! Tilly was also serving and was very kind during our brief interactions. Now on to the food, I couldn’t believe the size of this jumbo shrimp and the sauce was divine! Lastly, order the 32 oz bison tomahawk if it’s available as an off menu item! If you are brave, chew off the bone as there are a few tasty bits you just can’t miss. 10/10 would recommend whether it’s a romantic dinner, a family outing, or a business meal.

Had a mixed experience for dinner on a Sunday night (2 adults, 1 kid). Started with the Smoked Trout salad and Astoria salad which were both good (highly recommend the Astoria). My pork chop entree was delicious as well. My husband went with the prime beef rib eye which was very tender but too salty and half of it was more a medium instead of medium-rare. Unfortunately, one of my son’s chicken tenders was still raw in the thickest part of the chicken. I just had him eat the other piece which was fine. I should have said something but there were only 3 people on staff and they were rushed trying to cover all the tables. We also tried the carrot cake which was different (looser crumb, frosting not too sweet) but really good. I would not judge this place by a bad kids meal but I did expect a better steak.
