Jackson Hole Iditarod Sled Dog Tours, Inc.

Such a great and unique experience! My husband, son, and I did the half day tour. Frank ensured we had the maximum time out with the dogs. Our guide, Julie, was wonderful. She answered all our questions, made sure we were comfortable, and her love for the dogs way obvious. The lunch spot was beautiful and the lunch delicious. All of us had the opportunity to ride in the sled or stand on the runners. We learned so much about dog sledding, the operation, and the dogs on our shed specifically. The care and love for the animals from everyone is clear. The experience usually was fun, and the veiwes were spectacular.

JH Iditarod truly went above and beyond for our elopement in Bridger-Teton National Forest. It was a bitterly cold day (-15 wind chill), but they still allowed us to stop at the waterfall to have our ceremony while our guides waited patiently. They accommodated our party so that we could all ride together, and even surprised us with chocolate-covered strawberries and champagne at the end of our trip. The scenery is indescribable, the pups are so happy to be running, and the guides (who happened to be a married couple!) are knowledgeable and kind. When we think about this day, we will always remember not how cold our fingers and toes were, but how warm our hearts were. Thank you, Frank & team!

This is a must do with this company if you are in the Jackson Hole area in winter! Frank and his team are great and you can tell they love what they do! Our family had the best time on the half day dog sledding trip. The guides Annie and Julie did an excellent job and it was such a fun experience. We stopped for a quick lunch of chili and cornbread which was delicious. The scenery was breathtaking and the dogs were so fun to work with. I would highly recommend!

This was an amazing experience. We did the full day up to granite hot springs. It took about 2.5 hours to get there going up hill and a few breaks for the dogs. The spring area had more infrastructure than I expected. We were in the springs long enough that I didn’t get cold changing back into winter gear. Julie, our guide, was fantastic and very helpful. They have really dialed in the adventure. Loved the hot brie and crackers while they were cooking lunch.

This was truly a once in a lifetime adventure. Our guide for the day Anna was exceptional. She was very informative not just of the dogs and how they are taken care of but really knew the area and stopped numerous times to rest the dogs and get great pictures of the area. To top it off we went swimming in Granite Hot Springs and had a delicious lunch made by Liz. Definitely worth the time and money. Even though Frank was under the weather, he was still in character and kept everyone in line. Thanks for the great day and all the memories from the Hooligans.
