Jackson Hole Fly Fishing School

My son and I had a terrific time with Jack, our guide. He was super patient with my 16-year old who had never fly fished before. He had him on fish by the end of our day. My son said “it was amazing”!

I’ve been fishing with Jackson Hole Fly Fishing School annually for the past three years, and every trip has been exceptional. My guide, Austin, is fantastic—he’s knowledgeable, skilled, and incredibly adaptable to all experience levels. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned angler, Austin makes the day both productive and fun. He’s great at reading water, offering tips, and ensuring you get the most out of the experience. Thanks to Austin I landed a 19 inch Cut Throat this year which was a gas. The school itself is professionally run under Brian’s leadership. Everything—from booking to gear to the guiding experience—is smooth and well organized. It’s clear they take pride in what they do. The value for the quality of instruction, equipment, and time on the water is outstanding. Highly recommend to anyone looking to learn, improve, or just enjoy a great day fly fishing in one of the most beautiful places in the country.

Hat a fantastic day on the water with this company and Quinn, our guide. Our family of four (two teenage sons) had never fly fished before but climbed in a drift boat for a couple of great hours. I am hooked (pun intended). Quinn was a great guide. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

Teaching AND catching wrapped up in an ultra professional package! This was my youngest sons 7 year old trip. We did the three day school and enjoyed every day of it!! My son came away from the time asking for a fly rod and where can we go fly fishing back home. The guides were all incredible, very patient, very knowledgeable and enjoyable to be around. The equipment was first class. The lunch hearty. They picked us up at the hotel and away we went. The first impression at the “school” was really neat - all about education. Thank you ALL - Collin, Skyler and Jimmy (plus the great communication Melissa) for a amazing memory! We can’t wait to come back.
