Our family stopped by the Jackson Hole Children's Museum on the last day of our vacation. Our daughter mostly enjoyed shopping in the grocery store and playing on their jungle gym. Her favorite though by far was being able to act as a pilot and play in old parts of a plane they have which we thought was cool. While the museum is a bit on the small side, it was a perfect setting to get out of the cold for an hour and let our six-year-old explore.

It is a sweet, clean place with great staff, but it is basically 1 room, a section of which is closed off for repair, and I paid $48 with one child 🫠. I know it’s Jackson, but even so, at this price, I kind of expect a nap room and a glass of champagne.

This new museum is fantastic for kids! We are visiting from Philadelphia where we are members at another children’s museum and were very impressed. The play areas and exhibits are very custom made here and our kids (3 and 1) loved it all. We were especially impressed by the baby area and the space they set aside for the littlest ones to also be able to have fun. Great way to entertain the kids for a couple hours while in town.

This Museum is fun, beautiful and highly creative! The Museum's team commissioned several artists to create all the different play areas and I am honored to be one of them! Everything has been very thoughtfully designed to offer a diversity of options to play, interact and learn. The team is wonderful and every part of the exhibit will inspire you in different way! A must visit in Jackson!

We're so lucky to have the Children's Museum in Jackson! The space is on the small side, but it offers the same elements that make larger museums fun and engaging for all ages: hands-on science experimentation, immersive imaginary play, physical movement, and lots of opportunities to learn and be creative. Make sure to do the scavenger hunt in the acrylic river running through the floor - lots of surprising things to find in there!
