My expectations were not high, but this is a great little campground. The interior lots are a little closer together, but the sights are heavily treed. You're really not staying in your site very much, right. We were in a premium space and had lots of space and backed up to a small creek. Pricing is high but so is everything else in the Jackson Hole area. This is is on the Wilson Moose Rd. with a short drive to the NP (RVs not allowed). The front of Fireside Resort are the cutest tiny houses. All self contained. I would definitely return.

After reading a few reviews I was worried I was going to feel cramped and unhappy here - NOT AT ALL. Certain parks have sprawling space, but Fireside falls in line with the majority of them as far as space goes, not more or less packed in my opinion. We did have a back in site (#92, see photos) and I could see the pull through sites were a little closer together. But we had plenty of space, laundry worked great, bathrooms were clean and functioning, and it was conveniently located. We enjoyed our stay very much!

I will preface this by saying I am generally a back country/National forest camper and had to stay here to be close to my wife’s work for 10 days. My assessment may be unfair as I am not familiar with RV park life. You have to like other peoples children….a lot. Spaces were close together, this place would benefit from a separate group reservation area so multi RV families can reserve space with some privacy. Laundry was not working, bathrooms were nice/ still under construction, price was pretty high. Cabins looked amazing if you have $375 to spare per night.

"HIGH PRICE TO PAY FOR MEDIOCRE" We've visited Jackson Hole many times over the past 10 years. This was the first time in our Airstream as we are traveling the country to find our new home. Nothing else compares to the beauty, feel, and friendly people. Pretty sure this is the area we will live, one day. We were very excited to arrive at Fireside. The immediate drive in, looks pretty much like it does on the Website. Unfortunately, once you pass the cottages, the campground area is a drastic decline in appearance. While Wilson itself is beautiful, the RV Park is absolutely NOT. The entire area is poorly maintained and managed. The fire rings are receding into the ground, not being cleaned out, and grass is growing up around them. There's a complete lack of landscape maintenance. All the picnic tables are old, worn out and miss matched throughout. Generally, the place looks like it was abandoned at one time, then reopened without updating or improving a single thing in the camp area. It's a disappointing, disheveled mess. The laundry as well, is pricey @ $4 a load, it's just excessive over charging. The only thing that was enjoyable about the park, was the showers, which were nicely renovated.

Don't pay any attention to the nay sayers below. This RV Resort was an excellent place to stay. First time I stayed here and definitely not the last. Great views and great surroundings.
