Went above and beyond to help with the install of my new dishwasher. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful about all things appliance. Ill be sure to always contact these guys if I need appliances in the future!

Billed $50 for a part that has a mfr's list price of $29.25 and can be easily bought online for $22. They don't carry even the most basic of installation accessories. I purchased over $20,000 of appliances from them during construction (all overinflated pricing but wanted local service) but would go through the hassle of finding another source for everything in the future. They've succeeded at receiving my last dollar! Unorganized, unknowledgeable, unprofessional and rude.

As I am out of town taking a small break from our epic Wyoming winter I got a text from my tenant that the water heater was going out and having to be reset. Of course this is a bad sign and something you don't want to hear while out of town. I called JB Mechanical after getting a referral from a long time local for whom to call with a water heater problem, as I was out of town and couldn't check the problem myself. He said he used JB Mechanical for his rentals in Jackson. I called and spoke to Robyn and she was very professional in scheduling an appointment for the following morning. The service tech came by the house and checked the water heater, discovered the problem and replaced the part. Job done! Tenants happy, landlord happy and the government wasn't involved or in the middle of this issue, as the current Mayor in Jackson wants.

Had JB Appliance service my oven. Tech spent 20 min looking at his thermometer and the tighten four door screws. No parts, no extended time on site, no complicated diagnosis and charged $209. I called and calmly discussed how the invoice was excessive and was told that's the bill. No relief. Beware of charges before you schedule service.

It's important to note that 2 businesses operate under the JB umbrella. One is a plumbing contractor, the other appliance sales. I have worked mainly with the plumbing side and my review is about them. I have been a facilities manager and a residential contractor and have used JB for both new construction and service work for over 30 years. They are hard working and honest people trying their best to do the right thing, and usually succeeding. When things haven't gone as expected, they have backed up their work and fixed them. I highly recommend them.
