Headwaters Lodge & Cabins at Flagg Ranch
-
We LOVED Headwaters Cabins! The overall location is around 5 minutes from Yellowstone & Tetons. We stayed in the larger cabins, with bathrooms inside, and thought the rooms were clean, spacious, comfortable, and fitting for the environment. The cabins were amongst tall conifers, which smelled so good! The front porches had rocking chairs to make a hot cup of coffee super enjoyable in the 45° summer mornings. Employees were super nice and caring. The restaurant's food was DELICIOUS and the servers were very attentive. We asked the host what his favorite parts of Yellowstone were and he came back with a map, highlighted and circled with his own personal favorites. We were incredibly impressed with (I think his name was) Quentin! Overall, one of our favorite lodging experiences.

We stayed at Flagg Ranch-- one night we went camped and another we had a cabin. The first night there was a large group of very loud campers until nearly 3am. When we called after hours of this, they drove through so the crowd was quiet until they passed, but continued on afterward. The sites were clean and easy to find, but lined next to each other. There were many trees which was the beautiful part, but you are camping pretty close together. The cabins were awesome (no electric). Bathrooms were a walk but they were clean. It is very dark at night, so don't forget a flashlight! The restaurant in the lodge was good, but pricey-- had great breakfasts before heading out to the Tetons and Yellowstone-- the best part was the location right between those! We will go back.

Visited summer 2023. Cabin was okay but they didn't change the bedsheet! It was so gross to see someone else's dandruff or whatsoever when you were ready to go to bed! And since there's no phone working in the room, we had to drive back to the front to ask for clean beddings (in the dark and well surrounded by the hungry mosquitos)!!!

Staff was nice but site has mice! 1 which made it's way into my vehicle and I was able to get rid of it. Another made it's way around 5 am the next day. We had to leave immediately even tho we had reservations for 2 days. Imagine the damage it could've done to all the furniture and electrical wiring!

First off, you are paying mostly for the location. Stayed in a cabin with 2 queen beds. The 1 bed squeaked so bad, we couldn't use it. Very quiet location though. Breakfast not included, so be prepared to pay up! No tv either. Check in staff very professional and polite. Basically zero competition, so prices are high. Enjoy the park!
