Hampton Inn – Jackson Hole

Nice, western decor. Fire pit outside. Within walking distance of several restaurants. Breakfast was the usual Hampton Inn buffet, nice to have waffles again. Staff friendly.

Nice clean room, nice bathroom. Delicious breakfast and neat outdoor sitting area with gas fireplace and string lights (not covered). Reason for 4 star... no pool or hot tub. That would have definitely been the perfect ending to a cold snowy day, and the driveway is a little hard to see, esp with all the snow piled around. It is basically the gas station (Sinclair) driveway.

Very good design of this hotel compared to others. It has a lodge feel, with walkable stairway is right in the entryway that do not require you to go into a locked door. The breakfast area is right off of the entry area and it’s pretty good with 2 waffle makers. This was the most expensive Hampton Inn we’ve ever stayed in though, so at more than $200 a night it’s hard to say that it’s a deal. But if you’re willing to pay that, it is a very nice Hampton Inn.

The room was shabby but clean. There were clear signs of wear, like a huge hole in the headboard material. The space is not ideal for a family. We had a two queen room. There was only space for one piece of luggage. Not a big deal, I simply asked for a luggage rack. The front desk said no, they had been removed from the property during the summer renovation? I asked for a chair to avoid putting my kids bags on the floor. Again the answer was no. When I asked if the expectation was to put our things on the floor the front desk said they didn't know what we were supposed to do. So in short the property is worn and unimpressive. The staff are unhelpful and rude. I have stayed at many Hilton properties and never been treated so poorly.

Great staff! Very welcoming and friendly. Nice hotel. We were on a family vacation traveling through the area. It was the most expensive hotel on our journey, but the least enjoyed. I know this is a resort town and expected higher prices. However, compared to other hotels (all Hamptons) it was the lowest value. That being said it was a fine hotel and the staff and breakfast made up some difference.
