GTLC – Jackson Lake Lodge Mural Dining Room

Best fine dining we have had in GTNP! We made the reservation the day before, so it was a little late for us but we made the best of it at 8:15 PM. Our Ecuadorian server was extremely busy, yet remained personable and polite. We split an entree of trout with mushrooms and Yukon golds and added on mural house salad along with a hazelnut cheesecake dessert. Trout was perfect. The wine list was great, if not a bit $$ more than expected. I Had a bit of mixup with selected glass of wine that was settled up by staff eventually. There isn’t a bad table/seat in the whole place. I Highly recommend a meal here as it is a cut above both Yellowstone old faithful inn’s buffet and other GTNP snack shops. Enjoy!!!!

Very nice restaurant. The food was delicious. We had rainbow trout and elk tenderloin. Amazing view of the Teton mountain all over the room. The service was great. They accommodate us and our 2 years old son. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. For breakfast is easy to make a reservation on open table. For dinner my recomandation is the make the reservation as soon as you can because it is hard to get one. There are not too many food options in the park.

Our food was over an hour late, and only got comped by 25% (they did give us free chocolate mousse, though). The restaurant is apparently brand new, so that could be why... The food was fantastic, however. I got the wagyu with the lemon wine sauce and would highly recommend.

Another restaurant that has lowered it's standards post-COVID. Breakfast buffet is good, but no longer great. They let several stations run out of things and just left them empty. Had bagels with no cream cheese, waffles were not fresh, and even omelettes were a bit disappointing. Great location, and service was good, but food is now a bit lacking. Even though they say they are open until 9:30 am, they stop refilling food around 8:45.

The restaurant has beautiful views and is a comfortable space. We had the smoked trout chowder, elk strip loin and red trout. All were well prepared and tasty, although maybe a little high priced. Vegetable sides could use some improvement although still reasonably good. Overall a nice meal with pleasant service.
