Gros Ventre River Ranch

My husband and I are experienced English riders and wanted to try out Western riding in a beautiful and comfortable setting. We loved Gros Ventre River Ranch! The setting is magnificent, the rides great fun, with well -trained horses that are matched to your ability level. People with little or no experience also seemed to learn a good deal and to love the rides, which are generally in small groups according to ability level. The staff is uniformly upbeat and helpful, the food very good, and the other guests interesting and quite friendly.

Arrived mid September and the weather was fantastic. The Ranch and the scenery were gorgeous. The horseback riding was the best ever due the experienced wranglers, great trails and well mannered horses. The cabins were very clean and updated. All the meals were professionally prepared and indescribably delicious. I would definitely recommend this Dude Ranch to anyone looking for a fantastic adventure.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay at Gros Ventre River Ranch!! The setting is stunning. The accommodations are beautiful, quiet, and comfortable. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food is amazing. The activities were so fun, and you can make your stay as adventurous or relaxing as you would like! We will definitely return with our family. We all agree that it is the best week we have ever spent together. We created lifelong memories and enjoyed unplugging from the world and spending time together! Thank you Gros Ventre!!

Had a great time at GVRR! Overall a great place to get away and disconnect yet still be relatively close to Jackson and the National Parks. The food was good, the wranglers were fantastic and the horses were perfect.

This is the best vacation ever. Everyone needs to experience Gros Ventre River Ranch. From the time we arrived we were treated like family, everyone went out of their way to make sure we were accommodated and had everything we wanted. Andrew is the best chef ever, the food is out of this world. Sean, Tina and Torre are a huge part of everyone's stay at the Ranch and go out of their way to make it feel like home. I feel words cannot describe how wonderful this place is. We will be back next year.
