Grand Teton Fly Fishing

Went on a fabulous trip with Chris D today, he was great company as well as a knowledgeable guide and exceptional teacher. He constantly had us on fish and as a first time fly fisher-women I was so glad we made the decision to book with Grand Teton Fly fishing. Took my family on a fly fishing float trip down the Snake in July. Caught two tiny spotted cutthroat over 5hrs fishing non stop. I’m an experienced fly fisherman casting was good but his fly selections weren’t drawing bites. Our guide Pat they gave us seemed disgruntled, not friendly. Almost like prick mentality. My wife and I both walked away unhappy with our experience. Won’t use this outfitter again.

Scott is an amazing guide. Super friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the area and fish. We were extremely novice and he took great care of us. We had an absolute blast ice fishing and we all caught some great looking trout. So much fun!

We went out with Tim in September 2023. He was knowledgeable of the stream, flys, among many other outdoor info. We had a very productive day of fishing. We will be asking for him again on our next trip back on the Snake River.
