Rooms with a view!!
Elk Refuge Inn
-
I love this inn, especially since the remodel. Very comfy rooms with great access to the Grand Tetons such that you should never miss a Tetons sunrise (spectacular when lit by the sun), early morning animals, Tetons sunrise on the highway to Cody, or the always spectacular beauty of the two national parks. Nearby is the elk refuge for sunset views of the elk. Skip Jackson, which is now an overly congested, mind-numbing town with way too much traffic and people. Used to be a veritable heaven, but no more.

Excellent stay. Check in was pretty easy. The rooms were big and clean. Ours had a king bed and a small picnic table. There was also a small kitchen with basic utensils. Location was very convenient as it’s a few miles away from the National park and few miles from the city. There was no breakfast but hot coffee in the morning. We had to leave quite early to catch the sunrise at the Tetons so cannot comment on the views. But the inn is right opposite the National Elk refuge. So if you are luck you should see some elks.

The view, the location, and the room were all perfect. The micro kitchen and free laundry mean that you could comfortably stay here for several days or more. Everything was very clean and comfortable. It dumped snow while we were visiting, and the guy who was plowing the parking lot (who I assume was an employee or contractor) was very helpful and friendly. The only negative I’ll give is the WiFi was pretty slow most of the time.

What a great little place!! The room was very clean (I'm extremely picky!!), and daily maid service was provided. The little kitchen was well stocked. We were able to cook multiple meals without difficulty. The only thing I could think that would be beneficial to include, other than what is there, is a pair of scissors. The bed was very comfortable, my back didn't hurt all week. The view was amazing, obviously. The only con, which wasn't that big of a deal to us, is that the blinds next to the door did not cover the window 100%, so there was a little bit of a privacy issue at night, mainly. I would absolutely stay at the Elk Refuge Inn again!!

Thank you so much! The accommodations were wonderful and the views were incredible. There was a line of hundreds of elk in the distance last night which I will never forget. Also noticed that even in the cold morning, the shower had warm water from the very first drop. Super impressed! Will definitely recommend you guys to friends!
