Rooms with a view!!
Elk Refuge Inn

First time staying at a roadside lodge and I was pretty astonished by how comfortable Elk Refuge Inn was! The location was amazing since it was just five minutes (of driving) away from the Museum of Wildlife Art, ten minutes away from downtown Jackson, and fifteen minutes away from Grand Teton NP. If weather permits, you could also ride a bike along the highway or even walk as there was a designated bike pathway and simply take the breathtaking view of National Elk Refuge in. I stayed in a room on the first floor for two days and it had literally everything I needed, including complimentary toiletries, all kinds of instant beverages, and even a cute welcome gift. Better yet, most national park tours could pick you up/drop you off directly at this inn so itβd be a perfect choice for solo-travelers or those who didnβt drive. All in all, highly recommend Elk Refuge Inn and do remember to bring a pair of binoculars so you could have a better chance at spotting any wildlife from the view right outside of your window!

Canβt beat the location. The room we were in was very clean. The whole place seems to have been updated decor-wise. The windows were cleaned during our stay and the walkway power washed so it was certainly tidy and well maintained. They provide earplugs on account of being close to a busy road but any noise did not disrupt sleep. The mattresses are very comfortable! Overall, a good choice while visiting Jackson and the Tetons.

The Elk Refuge Inn team did a great job converting a roadside motel into a nicely renovated motel. Great location to drop in / out of Jackson without staying in the middle of the madness. Great views over the Elk Refuge. Free laundry and available coffee was nice. Tables or balconies for every room. Check in was seamless with the online process / code and office hours were abundant for any questions. We had King Room 102, the only challenge we had was room size. We booked on short notice and couldn't get a kitchen suite or something bigger for the duration of our stay, so we stuck with that room. It was tight for that duration, I'd recommend they remove the corner chair and put a desk / computer chair to increase counter space. Blackout curtains would have been nice given the brightness of the parking lot / early sunrise. Some people might complain about road noise, but we didn't have any problems with it between the A/C running and the noise machine we travel with to sleep.

Nice Clean Comfortable Room. Large window looking into the Elk reserve area. Clean Crisp White Sheets. Perfect Pillows. Exactly what we needed after a long vacation week. Perfect position between Jackson & Airport. Easy check in/out. Great communication. Office lady answered all questions quickly π Will stay again!π Nicely stocked with towels & shampoo & lotions. Fridge, Keurig & microwave make things easy!

Such a wonderful find! I went in the off season, so shockingly affordable, and wonderful rooms. Really amazing nice service, and the room had such a great feel to them. More than expected, including a little dish cleaning sink and kit and nice warm drink choices. And the view was absolutelu as advertised! Lovely view upon stepping out in the morning. The only thing I would have liked is full curtains, not just blinds as it was wuite bright in the morning (and sorta bright at night from the sign). Can hear cars passing easily, not bad at all, but just a general note so just bring a sleep mask and earbuds for sleep if you need them!
