Dr. Summer Owens

I was on vacation and had a small but very bothersome dental emergency. I was able to have an appointment in no time, and my problem was solved very efficiently. Dr Owens was very generous, what a lifesaver!

Owens Orthodontics is a first class operation. Our family has had three sets of braces and one set of Invisilign. They are competitively priced and travel to outreaching areas for appointments, i.e. Pinedale, Big Piney, Driggs. They are always friendly and helpful.

We landed in Jackson for a week long ski trip and my daughter noticed her wire had come loose. We stopped in, and Dr Owen was able to fix it super quick! The staff was super friendly too!

I don’t actually remember Dr Owens, since I got my braces off when I was 15... but 9 years later I still absolutely love my smile. I wasn’t an easy fix and now working in an Orthodontist office, I truly appreciate how well my teeth alignment is and how well my teeth have stayed in place all these years, eventhough they’ve moved a little on my lower arch (which yes it’s been a long time but still). The one thing I don’t agree with now knowing better, is that after my braces came off, I never heard from them again regarding Retainer adjustments, ever. With that being said, I still absolutely believe my life was completely changed after I got my beautiful smile! Thank you to the doctor(s) and assistants who made it possible for me and for also impacting me enough to work in the same field now.

Dr Owens is a good orthodontist but it's his attitude I wish was better. Rarely does he greet my kids when they have appts, which can be intimidating. Quote from my son-"I don't think Dr Owens likes his job very much." He quickly checks out their teeth without even a hello. His staff is great, just wish Dr Owens was as happy and friendly as they are. He needs to take his happy pills and say hi to all of his patients by name. A little kindness goes a long way!
