Despite drizzly foggy weather everything went smoothly. Jackson Whitewater had a late opening when another company canceled at last minute because the public access was closed. Jackson has a private access via the Snake River Ranch. We were greeted by a friendly man at the front desk who confirmed the raft float trip was still on. Robert was a pleasant bus driver who drove the bus. And Taylor did an outstanding job as our raft guide. Friendly, knowledgeable and funny. She engaged everyone on the raft. We saw an eagle and some ducks. No wildlife. Taylor showed impressive command of the raft including going through some small whitewater. Shame it was cold, drizzly and foggy. Can't change Mother Nature. 😅

JD was our guide for this scenic river float. We had most of our group over 65-80 it's a beautiful way to wake up and relax floating down the snake. Didn't see any Elk or River otters but we saw Eagles and Mergansers. Definitely something pretty cool to do if you have time. It's great for older folks who aren't willing to go hiking!

I highly recommend Jackson Hole Whitewater! My 2 sisters and I had a fantastic time. The scenery is gorgeous and the staff is amazing! Our driver Larry was super friendly and funny and our guide, Kadin, was extremely knowledgeable on the area and the wildlife. I can't say enough great things about the experience. Thank you so much, Jackson Hole Whitewater, for a great morning!

We technically didn't do the white water, we did the scenic one but it was still very nice. We saw plenty of bald eagles and we sat with another family on the raft which was very nice considering it was just me and my grandma. The guide told us that at the end we had level one rapids and then level three. Those were very cool and I enjoyed those a lot. Our guide's name was Carver and he was a pretty cool dude and kept us talking the whole time, it was such a joy. Me and my grandma had a lot of fun and definitely would recommend it to any family. But I don't recommend little ones because you have to sit on the edge of the raft and can't really sit on the inside. At the end we took a school bus back with a quick little history lesson about the views and what's around us. Beautiful views of the mountains and the whole time we were laughing and having fun. I'm definitely coming back to do this again and maybe Carver will still be there to guide us again. You should absolutely do it especially if the white waters are too rough for you this will be perfect.
