We stayed a week at Crooked Creek at the end of July for a week of UTV riding in the mountains. There were 3 couples in our group and stayed in a cabin with 3 queen beds and fit all of us surprisingly comfortable. Each room had it's privacy. The new owners are doing a great job making improvements to the property and accommodations. Mike, Lori and the whole staff were extremely kind and the hospitality was great. The main restaurant and bar at the property is a great place to hang out for drinks and the food is unbelievable. There is always great combination of guests and locals to chat with. The cook Collin does an outstanding job. We also had a private wedding ceremony while we were there with one of the couples in our group. They had a perfect wedding spot on an island surrounded by ponds on the property. You couldn't ask for more if your looking for cool mountain retreat.

I seldom wrote a review unless it was too bad or it was too great. Went to the restaurant already twice with my husband during our stay. The rib eye steak and buffalo bolognese were awesome! Definitely worth and strongly recommended. I ordered a cocktail tonight and it was unexpectedly amazing and ranked as the NO.1 cocktail in my life with peachy taste, orange juice, and vodka. If you like sweet and fruity taste you have to try it.

New owners working hard to upgrade place. The drive up the mountain should be taken with care. It's wide and well maintained, but unpaved. Our cabin was cozy and included a queen bed, microwave, mini fridge, TV, and full bath. Linens are included. A picnic table would have been nice. It's on their to-do list. The microwave cord didn't reach the outlet. I moved it to the end table. Views were great. Camp store was okay. Service staff was excellent. Phone service is spotty. Restaurant is new. Food is very good. It's a hang out for the locals.

We enjoyed four nights at this beautiful mountain retreat. We brought our camper up and had the luxury of full hookups. We brought enough food so we could eat at the camper, but ended up enjoying a meal each day and/or night at the restaurant on the property. Every meal or appetizer we had was delicious. The ladies all work so hard and do their best to make your experience wonderful. The staff is able to point you in the right direction for whatever you're looking to do; sight-seeing, four wheeling, fishing, hiking, biking, etc. The staff makes you feel like family; they're helpful, friendly, kind, and accommodating. We cannot wait to plan our next trip there this fall and hope to spend a few nights in one of the cozy cabins! Great job, Lori and team!!

We held a women's retreat for our church up here and it was AMAZING. The owners and staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, even with stuff we forgot to bring. It was clean, the atmosphere pleasant and the views are amazing. The cabins were so comfortable and had everything we needed. I can't wait to come back, even if it's just for amazing dinner and not a stay. Come and get away!
