Beautiful area to explore! A short hike between the cave where the water disappears, to the gorgeous pool where it reappears, is paved and takes you across the road just about a quarter mile. Two separate little jogs on dirt and rock trails lead you from the path by the visitor center to the overflow and the other closer to the cave. The short trail to the cave is a little slippery with the sand on the rocks so careful if you're wearing flip flops.

Another amazing place that is a must see. The river actually goes underground going through fissures and cracks coming out a quarter mile down. Wow!

This is a beautiful place to be! We were traveling through the area, and we are so glad we stopped. We did the nature trail and then fed the fish. Kids loved it!

An amazing value and excellent place for young and old. We camped 4 nights and had plenty of fun, hiking, checking out the fish, etc. The restrooms are clean, the grounds well kept, and the ranger station was in great shape as well. Over all well worth the effort to see and experience.

This place is absolutely terrific and a unique gem to visit. The visitor’s center had a nice display of the various animals and fish in the region and it was a pleasant learning opportunity for the kids. The really exciting part was the overview of the trout. They were massive! Without exaggeration, some of the trout would be about 15-20 lbs and are bigger than many salmon. Make sure you bring some quarters to use in the fish food dispenser if you want to feed the fish. We would happily go back and enjoy this state park.
