Brooks Lake Lodge

We arrived there by snowmobiles to take a rest and have lunch on Saturday 1/21 @ 1:50pm. Just in time to still get the full menu. I guess that was a problem for the female bartender in a cute cowboy hat (didn't catch her name) She acted inconvenienced by us being there and making her do her job. About the 3rd time she rolled her eyes at us I wanted to slap her. Needless to say, her tip reflected her attitude. Other than her our visit was wonderful!!!

Beautiful place, rustic and clean. Stopped here while snowmobiling with friends for lunch. We arrived after 2pm, so missed the lunch menu/dining room cut-off and they offered 3 expensive "bar" choices for food (soup, chili, sloppy joe). Staff were nice, and we sat around the fireplace for a bit after a visit at the bar and headed back out.

We stopped into the lodge for lunch while on a snow-mobile tour and it was great! I'd love to come back and stay longer. The atmosphere was perfect and the food was excellent. You definitely feel like time has slowed down and you are away from it all.

Brooks Lake Lodge exceeded all expectations from start to finish. The snowmobile excursion is a must do and was the highlight of the trip. What was most unexpected was the staff. They were so friendly and knowledgeable and made the trip even more enjoyable. This experience was a ten out of ten and we're already looking to go back. Thanks! Chris Allen
