    Stayed at this hotel for a conference across the street. But was not as advertised. There is no hot tub no has there been in quite a while the light in the bathroom didn’t work, there was holes in the wall and the toilet was broken. We definitely wish we had stayed across the street at the Sheridan

    I've stayed here before and I was confident I wouldn't have a problem booking here again. Boy was I wrong. On entry to our room we discovered bugs and a spider in the restroom. Ok, we think,this is ok we will kill them and move along. Well come to find out the bed sheets had not been changed at all, there was hair and who knows what else on the sheets. So we requested a room change, the next room did not have working AC ( it was 90 degrees outside) and once we entered the room we found a bag full of trash just sitting inside by the window. Ridiculous. So we requested a final room change and finally got something decent. Overall not impressed by the lack of cleanliness in the first two rooms and also the front desk receptionist. Safe to say I will think twice before ever booking here again.

    First time saying here, interesting location. It started out as a 40 minute wait to just check in at the front desk with a full lobby. We had to wait for our room to be cleaned wich was another 10-15 minute wait. The front desk gal had to call and check at each check in to see if a room was clean to room people in. The lady at the front desk was clearly irritated and they were obviously understaffed. The furniture in the front lobby was filthy and all the flooring felt greasy. The smoke alarm went off for 5 minutes, she proceeded to slam the covering, turn it off and stated someone was smoking in their room (non smoking hotel). The parking is very limited and pretty much non existent and their overflow lot was accompanied by several homeless people. When we arrived back later in the evening, we had to park in the other lot. There was homeless people yelling and cussing with their belonging in shopping carts. These people were there all day. The hotel employee Issac was fantastic. He walked to our vehicle and escorted us in, after handling the obnoxious bums, the police were called. The room was clean for the most part, we did have a dirty towel folded up and the floor was greasy feeling. There was a constant running water sound in our room and the floor were very noisy to walk on. The beds were comfortable. Upon checking out we had questions about our bill, the lady at the front said she was new and she couldn't answer any of our concerns. I would recommend finding a different hotel to stay at. The hotel staff was not ready for a Saturday, considering Salt Lake is a very busy place. The hotel is located on a one way street so be prepared to shoot across several lanes and or miss your turn. For the price we paid,...... too much, it was 100% not worth it. I will never stay here again. The only reason I'm not giving a 1 star review is because of Issac the night shift employee.

    The staff is friendly and answering any of our questions kindly. Bed was amazingly comfortable The air conditioning kept room comfortably cool. It is an older hotel and it has a musty smell but bearable. Bath tub was stained from someone coloring their hair. Room was clean and comfortable. Not worth the price.

    Do not stay at this hotel! We stayed 1 night, May 26, 2022. Upon reviewing my credit card statement, I found a second posting for an additional night. I contacted the hotel directly and spoke with the manager. She stated that her records show that we extended our stay an additional night to include May 27. I told her we did not. I told her we checked out early on the morning of Friday, May 27 and stayed the night of May 27, 300 miles away in the Grand Tetons in Wyoming. I said to look at her records and she could see that we checked out on May 27. I also told her there is no way we extended, we had a room booked 300 miles away. I told her, if she wants I can email her our invoice showing we checked in at the hotel 300 miles away on the evening of May 27. She continuously stated her record shows we extended. I told her there was no reason why we would extend, we had a reservation for the nights of May 27 & May 28 booked 300 miles away. I then told her I can email you the other hotels reservation confirmation made several weeks earlier as well as the invoice showing we checked in there on May 27. Again, she continually stated that her record says we extended and she refuses to credit our credit card. I asked for her name, she responded goodbye and hung up. My wife tried to call back twice and know one would answer(I assume she had caller ID) This raises my mind as to how often this happens to other people at this hotel. My next step is to contact the better business bureau of Salt Lake City and dispute this “bogus/fraudulent” charge on my credit card. By the way, when we checked into our room the air conditioning wasn’t working . The clerk changed our room and said we have been having air conditioning issues. Again, I would caution staying at this hotel. Larry and Carol Sargent
