Black Dog Rafting Company

Nate and Marty from Black Dog Raft did a phenomenal job of wrangling our group of 24. With 9 kids it was no easy task. The wildlife was in full form…we saw 6 bald eagles, falcon, and a beaver. The kids loved getting out to go swimming or exploring or jumping in and floating with the boat. When we come back to Jackson we’ll be sure to ring these guys up!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!!

We did a 4 person private float with Black Dog and LOVED it! Our guide, Nate was very chill, informative, and fun. We were especially excited when they said we could bring our pup - she also had a blast. Everything was easy and seamless from pick up to drop off. We will for sure be recommending Black Dog Raft Company for anyone looking for fun things to do around Jackson/Grand Teton area. A 12/10 experience!

What a great experience for our whole family! This company is awesome and you will be happy you chose them. Our party of nine enjoyed a private 13 mile dinner ride down the Snake River. Vivian was our guide and she was outstanding. We rode for an hour and pulled off on the shore to enjoy a BBQ. Our meal consisted of Grilled steak and salmon, pasta salad, steamed broccoli and a garden salad. All of which was very delicious. This private raft trip is well worth it and created some great memories. This is a small company and the owners are very personable. I also recommend it because it is geared to your private group and makes it more enjoyable.

Our group of 5 booked an evening 3 hour raft float down the Snake River (June 2022). We had a wonderful experience with Vivian as our guide. She was very knowledgeable about the Jackson area and the wildlife that we saw along the way. This was a very fun trip with many sightings of bald eagles and their nests along the way. Highly recommend this tour company and Vivian as a guide!

Excellent company for a scenic float trip! We traveled the Snake River today with our guide, Sandy. The conversation, the views, and the hospitality were all 5 stars. Our two sons were along for the trip (ages 6 & 2). Sandy made all of us feel comfortable. He did an excellent job navigating the waters - even amidst the evening shower we had the pleasure of encountering! Would highly recommend this group to anyone - especially people with small kids!
