For being a older motel it is really a nice place to stay. Locally owned, well-maintained, clean rooms, decorated nicely to fit the theme. You get to have s’mores by the large campfire next to the river every evening.

The Inn is great, the rooms are clean and well kept. But the real reason this place is five stars is because of the owner/keeper, Liz. She's the nicest person and genuinely cares about you and your visit (the Inn dog, Ranger, is also great). If you're spending time in Dubois I wouldn't look any further.

So glad we stayed here! Liz, the owner, is the heart of this inn. My husband and I were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm when we arrived. She had many suggestions of where to eat, what to do and where to shop in Dubois which were all spot on. The room was cozy, quaint, very warmly decorated and so clean! The outdoor area by the river is very nice with s'mores every night. There is no cable which is refreshing but tons of movies to choose from if you wanted to watch something. Walking distance to everything. Great place! Thanks Liz for your hospitality!

Thanks Liz!!! Awesome experience comfortable bed. The room was very clean. Lots of movies to choose from with popcorn. Liz is an amazing person she helps with whatever you need and her sweet dog Ranger ❤️. I will be looking forward to going back.

This motel is quaint, cozy, and owned by one of the friendliest people I have ever met. It is a throw-back to the family motels of my childhood road trips. Each room is filled with personal touches such as handmade bear-shaped glycerin soap. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and it was quiet. This is NOT your typical chain hotel and that's what makes it wonderful - there is no cable TV, the bathroom is a mixture of dated and new, and there is no air conditioning. However, it makes up for all that with charm, nightly s'mores by the river, and gorgeous flowers surrounding a communal outdoor patio. The drive to The Tetons is about one hour and gorgeous and gives you views you can't get in the valley. It is hard to come by an early morning breakfast, so I recommend bringing some breakfast burritos with you. Hangry's Food Truck was only open the last day, but had the best breakfast.
