Our 2 week journey through the mountain west landed us here at Alpine House for 3 nights. We are B and B owners in north Georgia and wanted to support small business as we traveled. Alpine Lodge was doing an incredible job with enforcing mask protocol and encouraged social distancing. I definitely felt safe staying there. The rooms were clean and well appointed. I especially loved the subway tile and large shower in our suite. Wonderful breakfast cooked to order. A tad disappointed our potatoes were overcooked the first day but each morning breakfast selection got better. A french toast bread pudding with compote and then omelet to order the last morning was excellent. Jennifer greeted us and was informative and friendly. So sweet and helped with any questions we had. I would definitely go back and WILL send friends and recommend this B and B to our guests. We met several couples over our 3 night stay just sitting out on the patio area. Would love to see them add a fire pit as that would be icing on the cake. Definitely recommend. You should not be disappointed w 5 star through and through. Staff, service, excellent!

Fell in LOVE with this place! Wish we would've stayed longer than 1 night. The rooms were comfortable, the staff was very friendly, the 24/7 coffee and pastries were a huge plus! The breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious and eating it outside in the beautiful yard was just a cherry on top. I got to play with the dogs and relax on the rocking chairs for a while too. It was truly a dream staying here! We will be back for sure!

Great place Pros: Location, right near the main square in down town Jackson. Tons of restaurants and shops in easy walking distance. Breakfast was awesome! Cooked to order, daily specials, lovely ambiance, white tablecloths and nice tableware. Ample off street parking Cons: The ‘garden king’ we reserved was in the basement. I don’t know about you but sleeping in a basement with a window looking out on the tires in the parking lot is not my idea of a good time. I said something to the woman who was checking us in and she agreed to move us. The place was pretty empty the 2 nights we stayed and she graciously upgraded us to a suite but if the place had been full we would have been stuck in the basement. I think there were only like 2 or 3 rooms down there but I don’t think they are very desirable. The walls/floors are thin. I was surprised when one evening at about 10 PM we were laying in bed and we heard the people in the room above us come in for the evening. We could hear every step of them walking back-and-forth and we even could hear their steps going into the bathroom and hear their urine hitting the toilet! Not the nicest thing to listen to. They Really we’re not doing anything out of the ordinary so if you had someone who is actually loud it would be unbearable. One of the staff members at breakfast was incredibly rude. We were alone in the dining room and I got up to walk 5 feet to pick up a newspaper and she came storming out of the kitchen telling me in a very rude manner to put my mask on. I had willingly worn a mask throughout the lodge all the time I had been there so I thought it was rather rude for her to jump on me in that way. After we checked out I realized I may have left the fireplace on and tried to call to let them know. I probably called six times over a half hour. And no one would ever answer the phone. I thought it was odd since I knew there were at least three staff members there when we left.

AMAZING BREAKFAST+Friendly staff...horrible bed and pillows. The lodge is very cozy and in a great location but when it comes to where I need comfort most, The Alpine Lodge fell very short. We were in room 104 which is above the entry. The walls are so thin if felt like people were talking right next to us. Woken up constantly from guests in and out and woke up every morning by the loud echoes of kitchen staff cooking breakfast. To be fair, I'm sure other rooms were not as loud but nonetheless we paid the same price for horrible 3 nights of sleep.

Incredible service and breakfast! Perfect location in downtown Jackson, such a charming and dreamy house. They even upgraded our room to a king from a standard queen. We will 100% be coming back for longer and utilizing all the other amenities like the sauna and library (perfect work from home area).
