The good - the free breakfast is good. Semi-convenient to downtown. Clean. That's it. The BAD - for over $500 a night -- no air conditioning, no fridge in room, couldn't open the window because there was no screen. Egregious cancel or change reservation policy that no reputable hotel would follow. Don't expect compassion or understanding if an emergency requires a change of plans, or even access to anyone who could make a decision. This month I've stayed at a Marriott and a Doubletree so I've experienced professional hotel behavior. Learned that my "special" rate due to an event discount was $300 higher than I could have booked the day before. Skip this one. There are many nicer and closer to downtown places to be found.

Beds small and uncomfortable. The common areas of the building are nice. Breakfast is good Rooms on the side of building we are on are dark, noisy and hot. Not worth the cost of the room. Rooms on other side of building are larger and brighter for same cost so I am disappointed ☹️ in that, especially since we booked a year ago. No elevator and no one to help you carry your bags up the stairs so not good for those over 60. Location is good though and close to town square.

Fairly unimpressed, especially for the cost (yeah, everything in Jackson is expensive). Staff were very friendly and helpful, the lobby was very nice and cozy, and the complimentary coffee was a nice touch. Location was as good as it gets in a very walkable town like Jackson, which is good because there isn't much parking here. The room was basic and aside from a fridge had everything I could have needed, but wasn't that nice. Bedding wasn't very good but clean, mattress was fairly uncomfortable, the heater looked like it was from the 1980s and was fairly dusty when running, walls could have used new paint or even just a good solid cleaning as they were visibly dirty.

Charming B&B feel to the place, gorgeous gardens, nice staff but the room was just not as we'd hoped. It was dark and had a crummy view of the roof of the business next door. While it did have an air conditioning unit, it was so loud it was hard to sleep. I mean really loud. I expected it to conk out at any minute. We only stayed one night, so we didn't ask for a new room. The bed was comfy though and the tub was a treat. Breakfast was made to order. All in all, in a town where a king room at a mid-range hotel chain costs $500, I think it's probably a decent value at $415. I'm still giving them 4 stars for keeping up the good fight in very difficult times. I hear they're going to do a remodel and that's great. I probably won't be able to afford it after that. :-D

The location is great, walking distance to the heart of downtown with lots of shops and restaurants of every kind. The lodging was excellent, even with a small room, it didn’t feel small given the other shared spaces to enjoy like the dinning area, the covered patio, grassy area and more. Lots of room to find a place to sit and visit both indoors and outdoors. The breakfast was tailored to each person and generous. The coffee was excellent. The customer service was top notch and responsive to any requests. We will definitely come back.
