Lovely spot to stay in Jackson. Very quiet. Good room and reasonable price. Breakfast cooked to order every morning. Two blocks from the heart of Jackson.

EDIT: Chris, the regional general manager, reached out to me directly via e-mail; accusing me of lying about this review (specifically, the bed size)... This 1-star review remains, only because 0-star reviews are not available. Buyer Beware - Alpine House falsifies the bed sizes they advertise, you will likely be forced to walk to another hotel to check in, and will be categorically ignored when attempting to rectify any issue. A few specific things: 1) I booked a Queen sized room for an evening. The room did not include a Queen bed - it included a full/double. 2) The hotel does not staff the front desk during standard hotel operating hours. We arrived at ~6 pm, finding a placard stating to call the front desk at another hotel owned by the same company in town. When several phone calls to that front desk went unanswered, we were forced to walk to the other hotel in order to check in. 3) Outside of those issues, the room was ok. Small, certainly... I'm not sure a Queen bed would have even fit in the room. But the room itself was ok. The shower not draining was the only real thing wrong with the room. 4) Noise from the common area woke us. If sound dampening is present in the rooms, it certainly doesn't work. 5) Multiple phone calls and e-mails directly to Andrea, the manager, have gone unanswered. If you have an issue, you will simply be ignored. Long story short - stay here at your own risk. If I were you... I wouldn't.

When we arrived to check in, the receptionist was texting and did not acknowledge us for a whole minute. No “I’ll be right with you” or urgency whatsoever. The king size room was clean and a good size. I was disappointed that the fireplace didn’t work and there were only 3 dim lights making it hard to see your belongings in the evening. The walls were thin and we heard people talking & heavy footsteps in neighboring rooms. The breakfast service was good but not superb. Orange juice tasted sour and overall not much care seemed to be put into the meal. The staff were not friendly, attentive or warm. It did not meet my expectations but it was okay for two nights. A few days before check in, we received an email offering “deals” on extras like early check in, fireplace, Juliet balcony etc. It was a bit off putting given that my room included two of the offerings and seemed like they were just trying to squeeze money out of the guests…

Firstly I'd like to give a HUGE RAVE to Andrea and The Alpine House for helping raise over $24,000 for a 2 year old little girl who is battling kidney cancer!! Without your help, this wouldn't have been possible! So please know that the people at The Alpine House are serious Earth Angels behind the scenes and more that worthy of giving your business to! 🙌🏽🧡🙏🏽 Secondly I'd like to add that my husband and I have stayed at many places in Jackson, but by far, The Alpine House is a favorite! Its got a great location for being close enough to the square but also on a quiet street which is great for sleeping and relaxing! The breakfast is top notch, not a standard hotel breakfast, they really take their time to provide something fresh and on par with Jackson Holes fine culinary scene. The bedrooms and lounging areas are so cute, welcoming, and comforting! Everything was clean and tidy but also unique in comparison to other places in Jackson. I highly recommend staying here!

This is our 2nd stay at this hotel. It is very convenient to shopping and dining. The views have been pretty good. Rooms have been clean, plenty of pillows, nice towels and linens. Wish there were 2 luggage racks. Bathrooms are pretty tiny, and we struggle to hang damp towels, etc. Staff is friendly and helpful when they are here. I would describe atmosphere as charming. The breakfast is made to order and reasonably priced. Wish there was an elevator to the top floor where both our king rooms have been located.
