Shoshone Rose Casino and Hotel

Great rooms, pricing and hotel staff. We didn't get a chance to gamble, but oh well. Very clean, spacious rooms. Hotel staff was very friendly. Beds were comfortable. We will be staying here again on our way home.

My usual getaway we stay at the rose to dine well and play. This last visit has appalled me. I've received many gourmet meals but this last one thanks to Nancy was the rudest experience I've had in my 20+ years. To tell a woman whose only objective was to feed her hungry toddler that "if I didn't like how the steak was cooked, why not take it home and cook it myself." Not only do you never tell the customer not to go out to eat. You don't go over to the other table adjacent and explain why their food is late because they have to remake mine. It's supposed to be a 12 oz ribeye since there was no more prime rib. How did my portion look like lunch meat then steak tar-tar on the second attempt. I really hope your manager sees this. That's no way to treat someone who simply gave you their order and had to ask for the salad bar to be restocked. All the tables were filthy and I should of went into Lander for a decent meal. Now my child has been sick with food poisoning I'll definitely not be eating at that restaurant any time in the near future. Every bit of my meal was cold. The butter didn't even melt on the veggies. The best part was the fry bread and hats off to the chef for not messing up that part!

Rooms are great. Staff is friendly. Except Anya. I would give the bar itself 1 star if possible, but only when she's bartender. Overall the bar needs help, but Nancy is friendly, helpful, and willing to work with folks. Anya is a negativity bomb from the first second. She complains about everything and everyone and can't handle confrontation when told the employees before her were wonderful, helpful, and positive. I wish I got back every measly dollar I tipped this *insert word(s)* Shoshone Rose, if you read this, Anya loses you money. Ditch that .... and take on someone helpful

Front desk staff was very helpful and polite. Room was very spacious and inviting. Only reason this did not get a 5 star was there was food from the previous guest left in our fridge. Rates very reasonable and seems like a great place for families to stay. Casino offers fun for adults while children will enjoy the indoor pool.

I don't gamble but I like it to eat. Got a free senior meal and it was good too. I looked at the menu and it had a good selection of food. The atmosphere in the place is very nice, professional assistance from employees at the service deck. Thanks, made the visit more enjoyable! On my next visit, I'll order from the menu.
