Mountain Modern is the perfect location in Jackson with absolutely fantastic accommodations! More so, I would love to leave a HUGE RAVE for Spencer! In an effort to raise money for my friends 2 year old little girl, battle kidney cancer, Spencer and Mountain Modern were able to help us raise OVER $24,000 ! This wouldn't have been possible without their help, so please rest assured knowing not only is this hotel fantastic, but amazing people with hearts of gold are running the show here! 🧡 this little girl will be able to receive her chemo treatments out of state thanks to Spencer and Mountain Modern! Thank you!!!

For the price this place is amazing. The rooms were fairly spacious, well appointed, and the hotel is conveniently located walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. It didn’t feel like a motel to us. I read some complaints of noise, but we didn’t have any issues. However, i do want to mention that if you happen to have a noisy neighbor, I’m sure you will be able to hear them. The walls aren’t soundproofed very well. The motel has a shuttle that takes three trips in the morning and three trips in the evening to bring you to and from Teton Village. I definitely stay here again!

We had a fantastic experience over New Years in both the double queen room and the larger apartment. The rooms are really nice, well equipped and nicely decorated. We were on the bottom floor and it was pretty noisy so next time we will request a room upstairs. The apartment was FANTASTIC!! We had 6 adults staying in it comfortably. It was equipped with everything needed to cook and hang out. There are both outdoor and indoor pools and spas that are very nice and clean, great fire pits that were always on and a place to hang out and buy coffee. The location can’t be beat as it is in the center of town and there is a shuttle to the mountain. The only thing that could make it better is a free breakfast in the morning. Other than that it was an excellent stay and we will be back.

Great location. Nice rooms. Paper thin walls. Good for a big group planning on having late nights. wouldn’t recommend it otherwise. You’ll hear everything, even normal conversation. if any adjoining rooms decide to listen to loud music, or engage in other late night hotel room activities, good luck sleeping. There are earplugs on the bed when you arrive, but there’s a limit to how much that can do.

Good part: The motel is in a pretty good spot and it has excellent amenities. It is true that the walls are a bit thin, but that doesn’t bother me. The hot tubs and indoor and outdoor pools are really cool. There is even a ski bus available to guests of the motel. Overall, I am happy with my experience here and would come back to stay at the Mountain Modern Motel. Bad part: We had a big black truck with a muffler parked in front of our room with the engine idling and no one inside. I went to the front desk multiple times to ask them to help find the owners and make them turn it off. The problem was that the truck had been running for over an hour (my friend left the room as the smell of the exhaust fumes came into our room and was so strong it irritated him). The noise of the engine wasn’t as much of a problem as the exhaust smell. Now, here are my critiques of the staff and their response: 1) I called multiple times and even went to the reception to ask them to help solve the issue. There is a sign prohibiting engine idling in front of the parking spots directly in front of the first floor rooms. No one seems to follow that. We had two trucks idling for a while (one white and one black) and no one did anything. 2) The employee at the front desk lied to me when I told her that the black truck had been idling for over an hour. She went on to directly and unapologetically contradict me and explain it had been there for only 30 minutes and that the people are moving out in 5 minutes. That never happened… I know for a fact that truck had been idling for an hour as both my friend and I (after I woke up and checked the time) saw it and confirmed it was idling. Please don't allow your employees to lie to resolve issues like this. The rules are there to be followed (otherwise society breaks down). Honesty is also much appreciated in these types of situations.
