    So far not so good. I was suppose to get one year of mobile data/phone line free via a promotion that Spectrum agents were offering door-to-door. I paid off my iPhone, and closed my AT&T account because this was a great deal, and Spectrum’s costs are cheaper. One week later, I’m struggling with Spectrum’s customer service department because the agent botched the phone activation step of the process by (possibly) applying the wrong IMEI number during promotion sign-up. Over a month later, after at least one escalation to management within the company, it was decided that they will not honor the promotion due to having the activation problem that was eventually corrected but was no longer technically the same order. Scam? Also, I have had some trouble with their internet router. My XBOX never had any trouble connecting to the AT&T router, but since I switched to Spectrum (their costs are certainly cheaper, I’ll give them that) I have to reconnect the wifi often and, to make it worse, it often does not recognize the password! Update: The trouble with the router eventually sorted itself out.

    ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. NOT ONLY DOE THEIR WI-FI/INTERNET CUT OUT ALL DAY LONG -- GOOD LUCK GETTING AHOLD OF ANYONE FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY SIMPLY DO NOT CARE. WORST COMPANY IN AMERICA. I WOULD GIVE IT NEGATIVE STARS IF I COULD.

    Total waste of money. Terrible service. Incompetent people running the network. City monopoly’s should be illegal especially when they can’t even make what we pay them for to work

    I’ve always wondered why so many people have so many bad things to say about Spectrum. It only took me 1year of using their service to fully understand. They’re scammers. They lie. Whatever they’re telling you is false. I’m not surprised their Google rating is so low. Avoid this company at all cost.

    The customer service rep I had to deal with today was absolutely rude and unhelpful. Rushing the entire conversation with out any real explanation as to why something we have used for over 3 years all of a sudden isn't working and why we are required to have our own equipment on top of their equipment when its never been needed before but "nothings changed on their end". 45 mins that accomplished nothing and now have to pay $150 out of pocket to have a tech come out and hopefully fix the issue. I don't know what's happened these last few months but its been horrible. Someone needs to train the customer service reps better.
