This is a great dinosaur and natural history museum! I love that the exhibit starts with the natural history of Earth and goes through time to the dinosaurs. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The gift shop has a great selection of items to purchase from toys and books to decorative knick knacks and shirts. I highly recommend checking out this museum!

If you're in the area, this is a must do. There is so much to take in, so give yourself at least an hour. Reasonably priced to get in. Great little gift shop.

My family really enjoyed the museum! We try to visit a dinosaur museum in each state we travel to and this one was great! Wish we would've done the tour of the dig site though but we didn't have the time.

Let me start with saying I love dinosaur museums so it’s hard for me to be critical. This museum for its interesting location in Thermopolis is still very much worth it if you get the chance to visit! The dinosaurs, both humongous and tiny were in great condition and beautifully constructed into scenes. There is a gift shop as well as a coffee/ice cream shop inside. The lost star comes from is the information and fact posters feel dated. New information about these beautiful creature comes out often and it felt as though some information hasn’t been updated for some years and may even be incorrect at this point. Of course for many people this is no problem just come to see the Dino’s and dip but in case you are wanting to learn and like reading at the museums this one wasn’t my favorite in that aspect. Of course still check it out if you can I saw some very unique Dino’s I haven’t seen anywhere else!

We had an amazing time with our guide Abby. She was knowledgeable and attentive and our 14 yr old grandson had so much one on one time. He even found a bone which is now cataloged ! The museum is very interesting and filled with a very nice collection. We did the whole day dig and it is well worth the time and money.
