Teton Outpatient Services

Wanted to get a procedure done and could only find doctors who would do this procedure in hospitals. When my insurance (and those doctors) wouldn't or couldn't give me a straight answer about how much would be covered or how much I'd be responsible for if the procedure was done in a hospital, I did some more research on how to get it done at an outpatient facility. I am so glad I did. Everyone at this facility was so amazingly professional and I could not have had a better experience. My pre op nurse Theresa was especially awesome - so patient, comforting and thorough with me. I waited until after all the bills came in to write a review to make sure I didn't get any unpleasant surprises. Everything went exactly as expected which I feel is rare today with medical issues/procedures. Thank you!!

Teton Outpatient Services is a breath of fresh air in the over priced, chaotic world of medicine. The staff is amazingly kind, patient, genuine, and competent. They work with you to help you get and afford the care and services you need. I was quoted a few different scenarios depending on how my surgery went, and they followed through exactly as quoted. Their team is just amazing! I'm so glad I was able to have my surgery here.

Nurses and staff were great! The doctor did not tell me that he would be leaving the practice and when I had follow up questions after my procedure, the doctor was not available. I requested an itemized bill on several occasions but was refused every time.

Beware of this Practice over charging bills for procedures, Epidural shouldn't be more than $600-$800 total. They called me the day before and told me my insurance would cover the Entire $2,000 for one Epidural that has always cost me $300 to $500 Total, never more once I pay my full Deductible of $8,000. Which isn't true after calling my Insurance.

I posted a 1 star review about their ridiculous billing procedures, and apparently they somehow managed to get my review removed, so I am leaving a 1 star review again. Google, please don't believe any lies they tell you to get my legitimate review removed. I had a 1 hour rotator cuff repair procedure here, and the surgeon's bill to my insurance was roughly $7000,, all legit, and my insurance processed it with no problems. Teton Outpatient Services charged my insurance roughly $28,000 for the one hour procedure, and of course my insurance only covered a little over $8000 of that and denied them most of the charges. One of the things they charged me for was a billing code that I was later told over the phone was for "prosthetic implants." The only implants I had were a couple of screws and some suture material to tie the tendon back to the bone. They charged well over $1000 for these "prosthetics," and so my insurance hit me with an additional $500 for my portion of the implants. Apparently Teton Outpatient charges about $700 per screw and calls them "prosthetics?" Pretty slimy. So my surgeon, who has all of the skills and does all of the work, charges less than 1/3 the amount to my insurance that the facility charges? Take my advice and find a surgeon that will do the procedure in Star Valley rather than letting these slimy people rip you off on ridiculous charges. I will say though that the nurses here are great. My only beef is with the owners/management/billing department.
