Mangis Fishing Guide Service

Two of us were out with Jake today on the beautiful mountain sights on the Snake River on his Hyde drift boat for an all day trip. Weather was mostly sunny - cool this morning and near 60 by afternoon. Jake knew the river very well and we caught fish everywhere he stopped, even though the river was a bit cloudy with the spring runoff. We caught about 50 cutthroat between the two of us - with several fish between 14” - 17”. Really a great day of memories. We can’t say enough about Jake - a very capable and friendly guide.

We went on a fishing trip with Mangis. We had a party of 5 including children. Everyone had a fantastic time. Our guides, Tom and Ralph, were long time locals who really knew the river. We caught a lot of fish and learned very interesting facts about the river and surrounding area. The company is locally owned. I would highly recommend booking with Mangis.

I have been fishing with these guys since 2012. We always catch a ton of fish! I owe my introduction to fly fishing to these guys! They had me catching fish almost immediately!! I always look forward to a float trip with them every year!

Did a guided fishing trip in the snake river with Matt and it was absolutely fantastic! We ended up catching 17 fish! We were novices to fishing and Matt did an amazing job teaching us and going over everything we needed to know for the trip. What a great experience. Jake was patient with instruction and was diligent to get us on the fish. My wife and I caught many fish and had a tremendous time. This was not a rigorous trip, but had great adventure. I would highly recommend using Magnus fishing to fly fish the Snake River.
