Wow, what an awesome place to visit. There was so much to do and see. The live animals were especially enjoyable. The grizzly bears were play fighting and were a big hit for everyone to watch. I'm glad we took the time to visit this discovery center.

Absolutely incredible experience! Facility is well kept, the animals Enclosures were so impressive and the things that they do to keep the animals Wildlife atmosphere is amazing. Staff is super friendly and so great! Very clean! My son got to go into the bear enclosure and hide food, such a core memory! Definitely would recommend going, you won’t regret it. We can’t wait to go back!!

Not for Profit, Wild Life Rescue Sanctuary just outside the West gate of Yellowstone. This was our second visit. It is great to see a place that can help save wild life. Bears, Wolves, Otters, and birds of Prey. Several exabits to learn from. They are expanding the bear (Grizzley) enclosure area from the current 8 to 16 bears. Parking was easy, and not too many people. We were there on a Thursday in early June. Very much worth the visit.

We were very impressed with this facility. Came with our grandchildren in early May and really thought we would be in and out within an hour. No, we were a good three hours and there are more than wolves and grizzlies here. The staff has a fantastic rotation schedule for the animals and they keep them mentally engaged during their time in the outdoor enclosures. The grounds were very well kept and there is new construction underway. We passed through West Yellowstone in 2007 after a few days in Yellowstone NP and finally had the opportunity for a day trip here in 2024. We now have easy access several times a year and anticipate a return trip to see the updates to the facility.

Great spot to stop for a couple hours and guarantee to see good wildlife action. While it's not quite as thrilling as running into them in the park, getting to see the bears and wolves up close is still amazing. They also have otters, a wide variety of birds, and a few other animals. Don't miss the trash can graveyard where you can see the damage bears can do as well as their creativity.
