Elk Refuge Inn

My only regret about the Elk Refuge Inn is that we only spent one night here. Lovely hotel with beautiful views, and a nice text messaging system that keeps you informed on your room and any applicable hotel policies. Our rooms had well stocked kitchenettes and a nice sized kitchen table. The beds were very comfortable and we loved that the room had a Keurig and hot chocolate! For the price, this is an absolute bargain of a room compared to the rest of the options in Jackson. The location is great, just outside of town and less than 15 min away from the Grand Teton entrance gates -- it would be a great home base for exploring Grand Teton. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, well appointed, and very well priced place to stay in Jackson, look no further!

We had a great stay at the Elk Refuge Lodge! Located very conveniently to both GTNP and downtown Jackson. We had one of the larger rooms upstairs and it was a great size. It felt like having a little apartment which made it nice to spread out all of our stuff for a week long hiking trip. We were very surprised and pleased by the cleanliness, attention to detail, and conveniences in the room. Would highly recommend.

We stayed here for a few days in early August and loved our stay. The view is incredible, location is 10/10, the room is adorable (decor wise), bed was a bit soft but comfortable and the service was perfect. We wanted to extend our checkout and asked day of and they gave us an extra hour. We did have trouble getting in direct contact with someone by phone, however they did respond quickly through email/someone was available in the front office. It was only a 15-20 min ride to most hiking spots in Teton and a 10 min drive to Jackson Hole.

Great location! Our room was extremely clean and the beds were comfortable. Although the location is roadside and they provide earplugs, we didn’t need them or notice any road noise. Very quick drive into Jackson Hole so that was a huge perk! Have no complaints about our stay.

Clean room and beautiful view. It's by the road but noise is not a problem for me at all. Convenient parking, just right in front of my room. The checkout time is a bit too early but totally understand why. They probably spend good amount of time cleaning the room. Please keep your high standard of cleanliness!
