Melvin Brewing

Melvin Brewing, Jackson, WY, USA

Melvin Brewing started as a brewing operation in the back of a local Thai restaurant. The idea for Melvin originally developed on the coast of California with a desire to bring West Coast-style IPA to the “west coast” of Wyoming (aka Jackson Hole). These days Melvin Brewing has grown up! They now have a large production facility in Alpine, Wyoming, that is producing and canning deliciously creative brews for distribution nationwide. They also still serve a wide swath of craft beers with a side of hip-hop and kung-fu at their Jackson location, Thai Me Up

Can’t say enough great things about this place - great staff, beer, food (thai), and vibe... they’re doing things right! Hope to go back soon

This was Melvin's brewpub at Thai Me Up in Jackson. Thai food was excellent. Melvin beers are awesome. Melvin IPA is one of my go-tos. Great IPA. Only drawback at this location was a lot of noise. Made it hard to talk. But I recommend a visit for beer lovers--especially if you like Thai food!

Stopped here on our way to victor hungry and excited to get a few good beers. Our service however was horrible. We felt we were being ignored. After waiting for 45 min for someone to take our order, the last straw was people coming in after us getting their orders taken and their drinks. We got up and left after that. It was a bummer and we left hungry and thirsty.

The food and the beer here are stellar. Thai Poutine curry was incredible. 2x4 DIPA is a grand slam. Very flavorful food and super solid beers.

I didn’t actually dine here. I sought out this brewery because it was identified as “dog friendly” on Bring Fido; however, we were told that we could not order a beer unless we waited an hour for a table because the owner “didn’t want his staff to get sick.” That’s funny to me because I was wearing a mask, but the people seated at tables were not. Hopefully their beers are better than their half-baked policies. I really couldn’t say...
